Robert Shippy is running a scam to use people's money for an interest free loan. This is not a legitimate furniture store. Don't trust the glossy, fancy website.
I ordered a piece of furniture on June 26. My credit card was charged. My furniture never showed up. I cancelled my order on July 7. My refund never showed up. I've called and e-mailed numerous times. My story is identical the the others told here.
The give you the runaround about accounting, blah, blah, blah. They are rude and have no intentions of refunding your money. I frankly don't know how the get away with it with all these bad reviews and reports filed.
I've called my bank who will be able to get my money back after 30 days from cancellation date via the credit card company. I've filed with the BBB and the IC3. I'm wondering if I should call the police dept. in Savannah, Georgia. This is a crime. They are thieves.
Don't fall for it. It's a big scam. Only business at Furniture Buzz is MONKEY BUSINESS!
Buyer beware. Walk away from the www.furniturebuzz.com as fast as you can. ROBERT SHIPPY and his merry band of losers need to be stopped.
