Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
The Galaxy Mall ripoff is ticking me off. My wife and I went to a Galaxy Mall presentation in Orlando in 2001. She was recovering from a surgery and we were curious about their offer. After the presentation, a sales person glued himself to us and hammered us with the benefits Galaxy offered.

As I said, My wife was recovering from surgery and becomming very weak and ill. To expedite getting away from the sales guy and get my ill wife home, I agreed to look over the offer and consider it, signed some paperwork to take the package home and left.

I did look over the mall literature, called them, and declined the offer. At that point I was told that I must continue and that we had a contract deal, again I declined and forgot about them.

Just recently, I had a credit turn down and the cause was Galaxy Mall/Monterey collections agency. It seems the origional contract amount had grown from $3,229.00 to $5,273.00. My wife was contacted by Monterey collections who were very rude and demanded payment or they would fight to ruin our credit.

My stand is, hell can freeze over before I pay a dime for something I have never used and never will. They use this (credit reports) as leverage to make people pay for a service that they have never used or can't use as I have found on the net. This to me is a FRAUD and a SCAM.

Hi, I'm writing from Singapore and I've also been scammed by these people. I'd like to know how you managed to get your refund, Doreen? I'm really upset that this has happened to me and even more outraged that they've been able to get away with it for so long and are still spreading to other parts of the world like in the Asia Pacific countries! Please do let me know what you did to get your refund. I'd really appreciate any advice you can provide. Please help and share with me your experience. Please post your info below so everyone will know! Thanks.

Have you received a refund????? The Utah BBB published Government Action against StoresOnline at the 754 East Technology Ave, Orem UT address. Said they were required to offer 3day right to rescind, pay back consumers and provide list of optional services PRIOR to finalizing sale. I think COST should be added here. StoesOnline has been investegated in several states and some reports say judgements or gov. action is or will be taking place soon. Disclose all product titles, company names etc., in your reports. Please see my report at: http://ripoffreport.com/reports/ripoff109132.htm I received 100% REFUND I read your report while researching. While yours was on Galaxy Mall / StoresOnline, mine was AFI, NMR/PMI & IDI. IDI has merged or partnered with various groups that all have UNSATISFACTORY BBB ratings: PCS, PMI, Summit Consulting / The Summit Group. News report stated that IDI purposefully chose Chief Financial and PCS because they were virtually integrated with their operation before the merger. Makes one wonder if IDI is Stores Online renamed?????? I received 100% refund directly from the fulfillment company: IDI Internet Development Inc because the sales group "The Summit Group" stonewalled, offering small refund, not full refund, argued, & blamed, proving that the customer will never be right. pmicoaching.com shows they are involved in Real Estate = America's Note Network that has Unsatisfactoy BBB rating. One of their dba's is PMI, along with Dalbey Publishing, Dalby Publishing, Winning in the Cash Flow Business. PMI left Kansas City, MO with no forwarding address but stated that this company is headquarted out of American Fork UT, which happens to be the city & state of The Summit Group, well at least the division that made the sale to me. Summits 800 number from IDI is in Maryland. PMI's Lindon UT address had unsatisfactory BBB rating and states that they had a strategic alliance with StoresOnline. Their Kearney MO address is the same address as NMR, National Marketing Resources which was the coaching title given to me as my coaching provider. My coach was actually quite decent to me but had no power in providing refund, all that went back to the sales group "The Summit Group". NMR & PMI show Steve Thorne as CEO or Principal. I feel that "The Summit Group" is an umbrella name for many of the smaller companies they own or partner with. If you try to find BBB reports on the summit group, not found. But Professional Consulting Service, Professional Marketing Inc and other names all have unsatisfactory BBB reports. Couldn't find address for The Summit Group, but a search of their address turned up Summit Consulting, both show Colton Moody as CEO and has an unsatisfactory BBB rating. They keep changing business names, moving but all complaints are similar. The Summit group used 3 day rescind in their telephone solicitation, without the consumer benefit of listed services and costs prior to finalizing sale. All of these companies know about this judgment and the requirements of the judgement. Yet, they continue to deceive consumers by incorporating 3 day rescind to TRAP consumers. I feel these companies should be held accountable to the FTC requirements, lengthy description of what they are required to provide consumers. They certainly didn't provide this information to me prior to finalizing the sale. Can be found at America's Note Network, Boulder CO, BBB reliability report, toward the end under Educational Comments. Wishing everyone the best of luck in getting their refunds. While I did receive a refund I feel these companies must be held financially responsible for their bad business tactics. I've read reports from consumers that purchased E-books, these sales/coaching groups have been calling them also. BUYER BEWARE, be careful of back door phone solicitation if you've purchased any e-book or infomercial product. Stay strong ! Good luck !
