I was returning a pre owned game to trade out in Gamestop's preowned game trafe in rules.Which means if i bring back a preowned game I puchased, I can get its worth that i previously paid towards a new preowned game. Then pay the difference. So i brought back a game worth $17.97. I picked up two games that were worth $17.09. The game I returned should of canceled one of the games price with $.88 still going towards the second game. Leaving a balance to pay of $16.21. Thats not what happened. The total rang up$40.51. I was baffled. I paid because the games are for my daughter. Before i left I returned the games because of the price hike. The associate was quite shocked when I returned them. He asked what was wrong. I told him the prices are not the same and would like to return them and get my game i previously returned back and just trade. I would not buy any games just trade. Like gamestop's policy says I can do. All of a sudden the manager came out with the games that origally pixked up at $17.09. So the associate changed the games I picked and grabbed the same ones at a higher price behind the counter. I'm not sure why,but I beleive the emplyee makes commission on sales so he bumped up my sale for his benefit. What ever that is. But my experiance was unpleasant and I would think unlawful to play with my money like that.

READ THE FINE PRINT!!!! As a GS customer you are only given that deal IF you have thier GameStop club card. IF You didnt present that card then YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GET THAT DEAL!!!!! NOT A RIPOFF!!!! Just YOU not reading ALL of the terms and conditions involved in the promotion. Many ppl just read the first few paragraphs and thats all they deal with.
