I bought my Doberman puppy from Janet last year and right away we started having issues. My puppy had a seizure the first night we had her. After extensive tests and expensive hospital stay she was diagnosed as epileptic. A deffinate hereditary condition. I started asking to return heron the 3 rd day of having her. Janet said that it is not covered under the health guarantee. This is a lifelong condition that will cost thousands and I cannot show or breed her as promised. Janet has not dealt fairly with me and what is worse , I am pretty sure this is not the puppy I had pick out. I think she pulled a bait and switch on me when she seen that this puppy had epilepsy. This woman is a crook with a capital C. Do not trust her or buy a puppy of hers.

I have to say, that I find the comments about Janet very disturbing. Janet knows more about this breed then many. You get a quality puppy whether its for show or as a pet.

These pups are healthy and happy when they arrive. Janet went well out of her way to bring me a puppy 150 miles from her home to Reno Nevada. On her way to a Dog show In carson city Nevada.

That puppy blessed my life for 6 years and she passed after complicaitons during a routine surgery fault of the vet clinic not the dog. If Janet was still in Rio Linda I would definatley get another pup from her, that pup was the most intelligent and beautiful dog that i've seen in a long time and I've had dobermans for many years.

Any puppy coming from anywhere can have something wrong that is unforseen, you expect  that nothing in life is perfect, But her puppies definatley come close.

To whom it may concern. Unfortunately you are directing your accusations to the wrong person.(s) I have no clue whatsoever what you are referring to. I have no interest in anything Janet has to say, what we is doing, or even if she trips over her own lips ad breaks her neck. Since you have the time to sit and write such an assumption involving me, perhaps you can find the time to do some research and find out were it really came from. Janeets start ad success came from my dogs. I'm not about to take a crap in my own hat and put it back on my head. Surely you have enough sense to figure that out. Its not Rocket science, as they say. I don't have time to concern myself with vindictive behavior. I've been screws by experts and I just move on. Janet on the other hand builds herself a vendetta and there's no peace for anyone til she moves on to the next one. My personal opinion on that has nothing to do with the dogs and their accomplishments. In going back over a few incidents that happened in one of her litters, I have a pretty good notion who wrote that post. They are out of state and have a very nasty taste in their mouths over a puppy they got from her who ended up being a special needs puppy. That is my assumption on the matter. Epilepsy was not the issue, but it was rather serious. Just do your research and figue it out. I am not a vindictive person. There are other ways of getting through the day besides spending it spreading dog show bullshit. I like the fact that my dogs have been the start of nice success for a newbie. Not interested in pursuing what's left of my life condemning my own bloodlines and _dogs. More power to her, however, she should try going around people instead of going through them. And if she wants to blame someone for a boat load of gossip, the right person to blame is herself. Again, I reiterate, I am not responsible for the ill puppy post, which I think the story line was changed to avoid detection. But I get it. Seek your knowledge elsewhere, not here. Its out there. I am using my daughters tablet to write this as my computer has been down for over a month and my email correspondence has been by my phone and this is the very first time I've ever used a tablet. And if you want my petsonal opinion, I think that post in question was petty at best. Janet herself has done something very similar when she posted Levy's passing on the internet. Doing the world a favor or applying her vindictiveness?? People to this day ask me about it and my take on that is there is a specialist who's line of work is CVI, I told her about him. I used him once many years ago for a 6 year old champion that went down. I drove him in the pouring rain to Fremont. He had the surgery, recovered completely, and died of lymphosaroma at 13 1|2 years of age, to wit he sired a top 20 dog during his last years. Cvi in most cases is NOT a death sentence, but owners can make it so. You've had some lovely success in your youth. Don't dirty it up with assumptions and taking shots at people you don't even know. And the comments about the success of showing those dogs, remember where it started. I'm not in the habit of cutting off my own nose to spite my face. Ms. Gerrie Hart...nn

I am the dog show handler for Garjan Dobermans. I know every single female puppy this breeder has produced since 2012. Two of her 2012 females I took to the Doberman Nationals last year. The third lives not far from me and I know her owner personally. She is successful in Rally and Obedience events and also has a lure coursing title.

I was there when the 2013 female puppies were born, watched them grow and I know the owners. I can also tell you that no one named "Sara" owns one.

I have been in attendance at the evaluations of Garjan puppies, and also know the proceedure Janet uses in homing her puppies. As a fellow breeder of show dogs I can assure the public that no one ever gets to pick thier puppy. If someone is interested , they are interviewed and then Janet as the breeder selects which puppy fits the family , both with temperament and desired use (pet/show/obedience) . So there can never be a bait and switch. Each puppy is microchipped which is under the skin and unable to be removed or changed.

This report is being made by someone who has a personal vendetta against Janet, who obviously does not know the proceedures that Janet uses. The ignorance is almost comical and anyone who knows Janet can spot the slanderous lies a mile away.

Reading your complaint, YOU stated you purchased a female puppy from me. (My puppy had a seizure the first night we had her.)

I only had 2 females born in 2013 and 3 in 2012... The 3 born in 2012 are all in show homes and 2 Placed at the DPCA Nationals in 2013.   The other is earning other AKC titles.  the two that were born in 2013, One lives with a married couple who are police officers and the other lives in Vallejo with her family, I have several Emails and recent photos of her I can provide.
