Gary J. Bras is a total phony. Don't let him steal your time or money.

First and foremost, he is piggy backing on the name of a real investment firm. Bayside Capital in Chicago, New York and Miami and none of them have any dealings with him and all three wish he'd change the name of his firm. Trying to associate yourself with a real firm, that knows nothing about you, is always a major sign of malfeasance.

He also never lists his physical address as he doesn't want the people he has screwed coming after him.

He will attempt to get you to put up first money so he can then raise the "remainder of the capital" when he's really just trying to steal your money and disappear.

He claims to work in commercial real estate, venture capital, and film. When I pressed him to tell me about specific deals he's put together he couldn't name one. You'd think someone who brags about raising money could point to at least one deal he's funded, but he refused because he knew i had the ability to verify his involvement. When I pressed him he lost his temper and tried to jump off the phone.

He's a phony and a flim flam artist. Be very careful with your money if you're still dumb enough to do business with him after reading this article. Me and my associates will never again contact him or do business with him or any of his associates.

Image Issue

It looks like this is nothing more than an image issue. Lets break it down. First of all a finance professional should not be using an AOL email account. It's just not businesslike. Secondly, the website does NOT list a physical address. Legitimate financial firms have real street addresses, not rented mailbox locations.  This usually indicates the company is operating out of a home address. The domain registration makes no mention of Bayside or any of its officers. Who is Jason Bradway from Boca Raton? Your CIO ?  Not too reassuring.

It's just an image problem.............

Mr Levy and Mr Wheeler

I find it very interesting why you would post a damaging discussion such as this based on your assumpitons.  Since I have never done business with either of you and only had one telephone conversation with you about 4 months ago that you would put yourself in a postion to post THIS.

For the record since its inception in 2001 Bayside Capital GROUP has never represented itself as any other company aside from Bayside Capital Group, including Bayside Capital/HIG.  A simple google search of Bayside Capital Group will show a clear and decisive difference in the two companies, their services provided and their websites.

I, as principle of Bayside Capital GROUP, have given over 120 seminars, spoke at numerous conferences and conventions, sat on discussion panels and have written numerous articles for various financial industry periodicals and have always represnted myself as Bayside Capital Group, Houston Texas.   Our website, www.baysidecapitalgroupllc.com , is very clear and nobody can make an inference that it is in any way associated with Bayside Capital/HIG.

My profile on social networking groups such as Linked In clearly display Bayside Capital Group with a direct linke to our website.  Nobody could make the astronomical leap that I represent any other company.  Any communication that I have it is always Bayside Capital Group and if someone is confused I immediately set them straight.  So I cannot imagine you could make the leap to indicate that I am "piggy backing" on the name of any company aside from my own.   With over 20 years of a very positive track record in the finance industry I do not need to.   My reputation will stand on its own, as will the direct investor groups that I work with.

With reference to your comments regarding putting up money first and then raising the additional capital that is utter nonsense.  Just because a company doesn't provide you with 100% financing does not make them a "phony" or 'Scumbag".  Just because you do like the terms that a company may offer you doesn't give you the right to make slanderous comments or posts and try to damage a career filled with strong results, great character and integrity.

When you state that I did not give you references, I clearly stated on our conversation, as I do always that we provide them at the appropriate time.   You were unwilling to send me a summary of your project with capital needs and uses until I provide references to you.  After repeatedly asking you for that information so we could determine if your project was something that we might be interested if you were able to meet our prerequisites, I did lose my cool because I knew we were going nowhere and didnt want to waste my time.

I did not ask you for a dime but just the information that we could make a decision to move forward with you or not.   Which I feel is very prudent for an initial telephone conversation.   Since your request was for a movie project I guess I should have just asked you for your wiring instructions and just sent you the money for your deal.

In summation, Gentlemen I have worked very, very hard on developing a long and successful track record in this industry and because you do not get what you want then it is alright to post a discussion that tries to damage that???   I find it absolutely repulsive.

I wish both of you the best of success in your journey to find funding for your project.
