Gary Sumner Sumner Plumbing Bad repair - left tenant without toilet or shower! Royal Oak, Michigan
Had a small issue with a toilet flange and shower steams. The shower faucet needed to be replaced as well as the toilet flange.
Gary Sumner himself did the repairs.
1. Toilet flange was not properly replaced. Toilet was not leveled and was now leaking
2. Faucet was not repaired at all (even though I was charged)
I made several calls to him and was told each time they would come back to fix the issue. While my tenant waited all weekend without the shower properly working and the toilet leaking. Was told at least 6 times they would be there and never showed.
They finally stopped returning my phone calls altogether. I had to stop payment for the services and hire a new plumber.
They closed their doors on 4535 Delemere Blvd, Royal Oak, MI 48073 and started a new company Gary Sumner Plumbing.
Gary Sumner is not a trustworthy person and has prayed on consumers since 1996.
Years prior to this incident I hired them to repair my sewer line and after years of working fine and spending over 10K to have him repair I had to have another company come in and replace all the work that was done because it was not done properly the first time and began to sag under ground and leak.
