I am writing to warn people about the poor workmanship, and the unscrupulous, dishonest, and unethical business practices of Simon and Wilson, Brothers and owners of GC Heating aka Green Care Heating ltd.
 
Recently I was contacted by my regular furnace service company ProGas who advised me; it was time for my annual furnace checkup. The phone call from ProGas also came with a warning about their previously fired gas contractor GC Heating, whom had serviced my Gas furnace 2011. ProGas explained, they had fired GC Heating December 2011 due to multiple customer complaints, over 60 and that GC Heating was now poaching ProGas customers and if I received a call from GC Heating, to be very careful I did not become another victim.
 
An appointment was made with ProGas for the August 11, 2012 and I was advised they would be sending ABC Heating, another of their contractors, years in business and well known to ProGas and someone I could trust to do the job right, so not too worry.
 
At the appointed time I open my home to the ProGas/ABC representative and was immediately struck, as the serviceman looked familiar to me. 25 minutes later from knocking on my door this person announced he had service my furnace and was standing there, invoice in hand looking for $109.95. Upon receipt of the ABC Heating invoice I was alarmed to see there was a GC Heating business card stapled to it, that of Simon. It is then I realized, my furnace had just been serviced by the very person, Simon, ProGas had warned me not to use. When booking with ProGas, I was told the job should take at least 1 hr; ABC Heating invoice noted servicing should take 1.5 hours. Convinced the 25 minute job from Simon was not right and remembering Progass warning, I angrily enquired at ABC Heating.
 
I have been informed: Wilson of GC Heating (brother of Simon), knowing ABC heating continued providing contract services to ProGas, sort employment at ABC by changing his name to wil and with false I.D mislead ABC Heating as to his real identity and connection to GC Heating, he was hired. It was not long before Wilson aka Wil was passing ProGas customers to his brother Simon of which lead this con man to my door and I witnessed first hand, the absolutely shoddy workmanship of Simon, which ProGas had previously warned me about.
 
Needless to say upon inspection by ABC Heating the furnace was still dirty. Simon had not done much more than replace the filter. ProGas and ABC stepped forward and the job was redone properly to my satisfaction.
 
I am absolutely outraged and appalled that GC Heating would resort to these unscrupulous and unethical business practices in order to make money. I almost went off on ABC Heating for misleading me and I can only wonder how much Progass reputation and other customers have suffered at the hands of these con men that seemingly misrepresent themselves, lie and cheat customers and other businesses in the heating industry, in order to make money.

The complaints on this site are legitimate. ProGas, its customers and Eddie Lowe remain the victims of Simon Shariati and Wilson aka Mehran Shariati from GC HEATING aka Green Care Heating Ltd aka Green Care Carpet Cleaning aka Area Heating and there ongoing misrepresentations, poor workmanship, fraudulent activity and otherwise disingenuous business practices.
 
Simon acknowledges the understanding of his customers, however he omits these people were ProGas customers until he telemarketed them employing numerous, deceitful and misleading statements in aid of gaining there business.
 
I have worked hard for 21 years creating a business with loyal customers. This list of customers through years of telemarketing cost Progas and I 100,000s of thousands of dollars to generate and is my property, NOT Simon's to steal because I contracted you to service them.

In 2010, you responded too and were hired from a Progas, Craiglist advertisement seeking contract workers.
In December 2011, for a multitude of nefarious activities listed below, which included over 60 complaints, you Simon from GC Heating, aka Green Care Carpet Cleaning aka, Area Heating was fired:
  

  • Misleading customers about Gas leaks;
  • Advising Customers repairs were needed when they were not;
  • Over charging for parts and repairs;
  • Unsatisfactory/poor workmanship;
  • In and out, 10 minute servicing;
  • BBB complains in this companys name pertaining to your servicing re: aforementioned;
  • Not showing up to appointments or late, not advising the customers of same;
  • Substituting your Brother Wilson to do our service work, Lieing about his qualifications. at the time, he was NOT a licensed gas fitter;
  • not responding to customers complaints about your work;
  • Soliciting our customers to call you direct for services;
  • Providing the Customers with your own invoicing, stickers and business cards instead of Progas documentation (Which would explain why it took us so long to identify your complaints);
  • Misleading Progas about its customer invoicing;
  • Failing to advise Progas about customer complaints;
  • 2010 you were caught selling parts to our customers without our knowledge and pocketing the money You slithered out of that by reimbursing Progas claiming it was an honest misunderstanding;
  • Theft
  • On or about February to August 2011, you defrauded this company with help from our dispatch girl Jessica, by hiding completed work and splitting the money. Jessica was fired for steeling, you again conned your way out with a pack of lies (we have since located the missing dispatches called the customers and verified your involvement);
  • December 2011 you were again caught selling parts to our customers and providing service work to Progas customers without our knowledge and pocketing the money you were fired.
  • You owe this company over $800 for work provided to you that you refused to pay upon your dismissal. (I still have your text messages)
  • You owe this company over $15,000 for work you fraudulently obtained without our authorization or knowledge. This work includes but is not limited to repairs, service work, Hot water Tank and furnace installations
 
I trusted you! Now on your own, you are poaching ProGas customers and speaking ill of Progas falsely stating, claiming and misleading:

  • ProGas is out of business;
  • Misleading Customers into believing you are Progas or still an authorize representative;
  • ProGas BBB complaints, the very complaints we received resulting from your activities attributed to Progas, now being used by you in aid of soliciting our customers;
  • that you have taken over servicing from Progas; 

You have three problems Simon:


  1. Your lies only hold water as long as people only hear your stories Thats changing!
  2. You can not sue over the truth;
  3. The customers that you are poaching from ProGas, stealing, ripping off and conning are our customers and we talk to them all. You Simon are a RAT and a THIEF. Our codeword program, save a few customers has worked well at stopping you, it will continue. Progas customers with outrage and frustration are starting to speak out and we are encouraging them to do so. There will be more postings on this site and in other media about you and your nefarious business practices, if I have my way all 60ish complaints will be made public.

  4. My name is Ed ****, ProGas Home Services, 21 years in business. Every thing stated above I can prove. This company 2010-2011 has suffered substantial bad press, including this website and lost reputation, customers, some of 21 years and buisness, because of Simon and Wilson of GC Heating. I invite any of the public reading these posting to call me. I would be more than happy to provide contact information related to the Customer complaints listed about this Con Man and the other 60 odd complaints we received and still continue to learn of.

My name is Simon. I am the owner of GC Heating. The accusations made in this report are false. This is not a true customer of my company. I have reason to believe that this report was falsely made by the owner of Pro Gas & Heating (Eddie Lowe and/or Laureen Hoover). Pro Gas & Heating has a F rating with the Better Business Bureau and no longer has an operating business license. My company for a short period of time worked as a contractor with Pro Gas & Heating but discontinued the
partnership due to their dishonest business practices. I do not know the author of this report 'Mary' from Coquitlam. GC heating is an accredited company with the Better Business Bureau and as such has made a commitment to better business practices. If the 'author' of this report has any questions or concerns, please contact me directly at 604-518-4801.
