GE capital cons cardco unfair company Louisville Kentucky
GE capital charged us finance charge of $986.00 for missing one payment in a promotional purchase of 12 months same as cash. We made atleast 4 extra payments earlier in the year, but apparhently those don't count. When we were aware of the missed payment, we made 2 payments and paid for the next month 15 days early. WE were not made aware of the penalty we would have to pay until the following month. The biggest problem is that we were paying off the balance a month in advance to insure we would not pay finance charges, and we were charged them anyway, 30 days before the balance was due to be paid off. Ironic.
