GE Capitol shady company consumer fraud ripoff Louisville Nationwide
Did a 12 month no interest purchase from Best Buy. Paid in full in 10 months. Or at least we thought we did. Got a bill with a balance during 10th month and paid it off. Next month received nothing from them.
The next month received a statement with a balance for credit insurance with interest and penalty. DID NOT purchase insurance. Was told several different things from several different people there and in the end was told that they didnt care if I paid or not as they had already filed with the credit people.
Was waiting for a call from them after faxing info to them when contacted by their collections people. They said that we did buy the insurance and that it is in a different place on their statements and not listed with the balance owed. Very rude people with shady practices. Please avoid at all cost. Best Buy could not help me as they told me that they had to stop dealing with GE for this very reason.
