I have been hit hard by this economic crisis with no work, no money and trying to avoid bancruptcy. GE Credit uses the services of Allied Services to collect debts. These people are first of all not in the US, most likely Pakistan. They have no regard for the Federal Trade Commissions Act for collecting money. They called 21 times in one night while my babysitter was here and she identified herself as the babysitter. When she did not answer the phone they spoke into the answering machine telling her to answer the phone and that they knew she was listening. They called her a "b**ch" when she demanded to know who they were. They would not identify themselves to her and would not stop calling even when they were told I was not there nor was my husband. My 13-year-old answered the phone first and was greeted by a lecherous voice calling her "baby" and "sweetheart" which was creepy enough.

They continue to call every evening. They ask me "What kind of a woman are you?" Just what they mean by this, I am not sure, but I am sure that it has nothing to do with collecting a debt. When I hang up because it sounds like an obscene phone call, they will not hang up their phone and they tie up our phone lines. I told them we have laws regarding this kind of illegal collection tactics and was told "Oh, you really frighten me" "Are you going to make me lose my job?" very sarcastically.

I have tried to do a reverse search of the 800 number they call from but no address can be found, most likely because they are not in the US but a foreign country.

GE Money needs to keep this kind of service in the US. I won't give my info to some other country and especially to a company that employs these kinds of filthy, sick people who harrass people in this manner. I have to take my phone off the hook at night so we are not bomarded with continuous phone calls. Even if the answer machine picks up they just redial and call back until we take the phone off the hook.

I tried to contact GE Money directly but guess what? I get someone from another country on the phone that does not know what to do but put me on hold and not come back!

If they call again . Call the phone company and tell them the situation and request a block on thier # so they cannot call again . If it says unknown caller then request have the phone company tell the caller you do not take calls from folks that do not show thier #
