When I signed up for Care Credit I was under the impression I had a year to pay off the balance while not incurring interest. When I received my bill from Care Credit I was surprised to see the promotional expiration term was 3 MONTHS! I called GE MoneyBank/Care Credit and was told my Provider needed to call to change the term. I spoke with my Provider about this and he called them. I called GE Money Bank/Care Credit the next day to make sure the change was in effect and was told it was. Mike (probably not even his name) at Care Credit told me it takes 72 hrs. for the change to go into effect and it would be reflected on my next bill. Well, guess what, the next bill came and had exactly the same terms as the first bill! When I called GE Money Bank/Care Credit I spoke to an "Escalation Specialist" after getting nowhere with a representative who insisted that my Provider did not call and change the terms. Let me tell you, the "Escalation Specialist" is the correct name for these people - they in no way want to help you, they just want to collect the 22% interest they can charge after the promotional period is over. In addition, she was the rudest person I have ever dealt with and extremely unprofessional. I have called my Provider again and asked them to call Care Credit, but I don't believe GE Money Bank has any intention of changing the term, especially now that I have told them what horrible customer service they provide. I will NEVER use them again. BE FOREWARNED.

the Federal Trade Commission and the Office of Thrift Supervision. I have seen this same complaint many times as well as others in regards to the 0% promotional offerings and they violate the fair credit billing act on a regular basis. If you do not file these complaints, the government will not investgate their illegal practices and will be allowed to continue.
