You say that this is ruining your credit. If so, it's showing up on your credit report, right? Well, you can dispute the charge with the credit bureau, who then has to contact the creditor to verify the debt. That might be one way you can get the info you need to determine if, in fact, the debt is yours. Your other alternative would be to contact a lawyer, who could then contact them and verify the debt.
