Under normal use how would a power connection which is soldered onto a montherboard break off? It would not happen unless that connection was jerked or pulled in such a way that the connection would break loose. In that event you would be at fault. These type of things do not "just fall off", they are forced off. To top all of that off you went and tried to manually repair the laptop yourself without calling us. Now this warranty has been voided. As far as I am concerned denying service on GE-Zurich's part was valid. Please read the terms and conditions of your contract and you will see this is all clearly documented there. If you do not have a copy of this you can obtain one at the store your laptop was purchased at. Unamed GE-Zurich Employee
