I'm sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience with the Geek Squad located in Aiea, HI. At the same time though I find it very disheartening that you think that your personal case would be worthy enough to discourage others from using the services provided at GeekSquad. Yes. I'm partial to that particular precinct due to the fact that my husband works there. Since he has worked there I have become very close friends with the other "Geeks" that work there as well. Personal feelings aside though. I know all of these people on a professional level and while I am not trying to speak for all the "Geeks" employed there I would like to let anyone reading this know that most of the guys that work there are really good at what they do and do everything in their power to do the job quickly and accurately the first time. Honestly, put yourself in their shoes for just a moment. You have people coming up to you all day asking you questions about things that are second nature to you and you can't for one second understand why the person complaining doesn't know the difference between a megabyte and a gigabyte or that the hard drive is in the computer and that the monitor is NOT the computer. Now why would these guys want to put up with this stuff and then PURPOSELY blow a customer off just so they could be complained to some more. (And the next complaints wouldn't just be from the costumer, they would start leaking in from supervisors and managers as well). Anyways, my point here is that while you may have come across a "Bad Geek" (which if it's who I'm thinking it might be I'm pretty sure that guy has been fired by now) but just know that there are other great, hard working and very knowledgable "Geeks" left to help out. Thank you for taking the time to read my (long winded) rebuttal. And I hope that you can avoid any further complications when it comes to your computer repair. Happy New Years "Geeks" Wife
