So, I went into Best Buy to trade in my phone to get a new one on friday the 18th of April. While i was there I was told that my old insurance plan would cancel (with geek squad) and my new plan would take effect that day (also with geek squad). I got a notice today that my account was over drawn because Geek Squad billed me for my old plan. After calling them, I was told that its not there fault that there was no money in my account and they would do noting to but wait until i sent them proof of the over draft fee and the money they cost me (which i understand this part.) The reason i am writing this is because the added money that they cost me and the damage to my credit and ability to pay my bills. watch and see how a ten dollar error cost me more than 200. Of which i will get back $47. With them taking out money from my bank that didnt belong to them and taking up to TWO MONTHS to give me that money back ($9.99). The $9.99 now goes and hits me with an overdraft fee of $37, because I was over drawn by like a dollar or two.

Now here is the fun part. I get paid this friday, and all of my bills are basically due no later than friday at midnight. That missing money will cost me to be un able to pay two bills, ($25 and $80, and yes that amount is over that i am missing, but there is a longer story that i dont need to go into, needless to say the money im missing doesnt allow me to turn the money into more with a sale of some goods and then make the money i need to cover it like i was planning) That 80 missing will now cost me a $30 late fee and a $36 dollar reinstatement fee. So here we are $147 in the hole and still have the other $25 dollar bill that will cost me a $30 late fee and another reinstatement fee on top of that. Not to mention all of the negetive effects it will have on my credit and trying to repair my credit. After getting on the phone with these people it was made clear that they are in no hurry to help correct their mistake, and the damage it causes. It is funny how companies want their money as soon as they decide you owe it (wether you do or not) but then take as long as legally possible to reurn what they stole.
