There is a recall on the Chevy Cobalt that was just issued. I hoped you received it...I know I didn't.

The ignition key sticks, the car can't be shut off. The mechanisim needs replacing. No one notified me and I had a machanic fix the issue...GM will not cover the cost of the repair and has charged me an additional $89 to reset my computer's anti-theft system.
Total rip off - I was not informed of the recall and my car was stuck running. I could not put the key in the off position. I had no choice but to go to a machanic to turn off the engine before the car "blew up"! 
I am very disappointed with the level of service I have received once I found out about the recall, which was too late, I had already fixed the issue. The service I received from both the dealership and Gm Canada's Customer Service was extremely poor.
I had been a Chevy supporter for over 15 years. I will never purchase another vehicle from GM again.
