You should really be careful about posting personal information regarding the whereabouts of someone to somebeody who is posting in an anonymous forum. You don't know if they are an abusive ex spouse looking to find his abused wife/husband that ran away, a stalker or worse. Read this mans post again, does he sound rational to you? Do you really want to be responsible if something happens to this woman? Be careful!

I looked this name up at classmates.com there is only one listing with that name and she graduated in 1964, if this is her you may have at least found an e-mail address you can respond to maybe as someone else and get her to give you where she is living and doing right now. Just a suggestion. Also the PI Idea is great too. People are very easy to find sometimes they just THINK they are hiding. If she has just ONE utility in her name or has filled out a credit application she is findable. Also, you may as well find her family too like the last person said, that way if you cannot find her because she moves around so much, its possible she has responcible family memebers that own homes and stay in one place. Call as an old friend, dont use your real name...maybe they will give her the message and she will call back. Did you file a police report for your missing items? You should press charges for grand theft....dont let her get away with this.... my $0.2

Call a local PI and tell them you want them to run a report on CDB Infotek or Autotrak, whichever they may have, to get the current address. The report should cost no more than $50 bucks. I had a PI call and challenge me on that price once...but a skip trace costs them anywhere from $18 to $25 for an address...so don't let them greedy on you. I use those databases myself. Of course, you could order a massive, lengthy skip trace that would tell you every place she lived in the past and who her relatives are and where they live. That could take you to $100 because those databases charge by the size. An attorney could do the same for you but they would stick it to you big time.
