The Get Motivated Seminars was the worst seminar I have ever attended. Our team in our office of over 50 people attended the seminary, each of us felt this was a terrible seminar and should not be attended.

Some people here are mad because they are Christians or "Right Wing". Well, I was offended and I am a very Conservative Christian who graduated from Liberty. This was more than a few references to God, but a seminar who advertised a conference but used this as a reason to push an agenda which has no place in what was advertised. Yes, they had some good speakers, as advertised, but this seminar leads people to believe this is about motivation. No, this was about selling products and deceiving people to hear about God. The type of Christianity involved, as well, is a "name it, claim it" type of Christianity which is bent on prosperity rather than true Christianity.

Rather than motivate business people in their business, it seemed this seminar was trying to motivate (and I do not know of one person who was motivated) people to sign up for another seminar to get rich quick.

There were also racial slurs of one speaker who was extremely controversial and offensive. This has no place in the Business Seminar, it has no place in the world.

I am most saddened that people like Rudy, Foreman, Powell, Cosby, Mendell, Ziglar, and others are a part of this seminary. They must not know all they were supporting and how terrible this seminar is. They use these men to support a scheme to get people into business models that are questionable and should not be a part of a business seminar.

Again, I do not mind a gospel presentation if people know they are attending for that purpose. I do mind using men to attract others so they can use it as an infomercial and pushing a brand of religion. Mentioning God is okay, but this went far beyond the mentioning of God, it was pushy.

Do not attend.
