Giftcertificates.com This company sends bogus giftcertificates and cheats customers. Omaha Nebraska
We recently ordered bed bath & beyond certificates from giftcertificates.com. We received 4 giftcertificates from them by fedex and when we tried using them the same day in the store, we were told that the certificates have not been activated. We were asked to call the website to activate them.
On calling the website we were told that the certificates they had sent us in the shipment were activated ones and were already in use around in our area. On checking with Bed Bath & Beyond, all except one certificate shows zero balance. These certificates are of different serial# than the ones we had received and the website denies any knowledge of the certificates we received since they dont carry this serial#. On contacting the websites fraud department we were informed that since they had sent us the shipment with the authentic giftcertificates and we had already received the shipment, they are unwilling to investigate how we received bogus certificates instead of the ones they claim to have sent us. so we are supposed to shut up even after receiving bogus certificates from them because their system lists authentic certificates sent to us which are being used by someone i can bet works for them. they are unwilling to investigate fraud happening in their company and cheating their customers out of their hard earned money!!
