I received my order from GlassesUSA around July 21, 2015. On inspection I noticed oneo fthe arms of the glasses was a bit loose where it attaches to the hinge part, not screw related. A piece of metal that is glued from the hinge into the arm soon let go and the arm fell off. These were not their cheap glasses & lenses, costing US $233.
I contacted GlassusUSA by phone to start a claim with customer service on August 10th, 2015. I was told to email a picture of the broken arm to them, which I did that same day. They responded by email saying that they would review the claim and reply to us in 3-5 days. On August 16th I sent them another email asking when I could expect to hear from them and that I needed to replace the glasses as quickly as possible due to a wedding coming up soon. I received no reply. On August 17th I sent another email in the morning asking to receive a reply. After not receiving a response I phoned them and spent an hour waiting to get service, being caller # 16 on the queue. Their customer service answered and I started to explain why I was calling. As soon as they heard that I had a claim for a broken arm they hung up on me, no explanation.
I am going to contact my credit card company and try to get a fraud claim but it maybe too late. I also plan to contact other internet scam sites to tell them about my experience. I hope you take this experirnce into account in deciding to buy from them. They are a RIPOFF.
