Global Air - Wave Communications Billing-ripoff Plano Texas
A month ago, I recieved a call from Global Air/Wave saying that I had been picked to receive a free cell phone. The man said I would then have to pay a set-up fee of $34.95 after I called to request it.
I received a certificate in the mail 2 weeks later saying that I would have to submit $69.90 for S&H to receive the phone. I then decided I didn't want it after all. Now another 2 weeks later, I get my phone bill and there's a voicemail and setup fee for $54.90.
I called Global Air/Wave, and the lady asked if I wanted to cancel. I said yes, but what about my phone bill? She said, "You need to pay it." I asked why I was being charged for voicemail and setup when I don't even have the phone. There was silence, and I said "HEllo?" She answered rudely, "Just pay it." and simply hung up.
