My phone rang several times from an unknown caller. When i finally answered it, a gentleman with an accent going by the name of James Adforde said i had won $1.5 million and a mercedes benz with insurance, blah, blah, blah. He gave me a whole bunch of numbers (confirm #, claim #, and code #), asked me to call another phone number to confirm if that i was a winner (of course they did), and then called me back again a little later. He said i just had to go to Wal-Mart and purchase a green dot money back scratch card for $225 though i had a hard time understanding why, and then they would deliver my prized with the FBI and the IRS. I said sure, and googled GLOBAL AMERICAN CASH AWARD when i got home. Though i wouldn't have given them any money anyway, the Ripoff Report came up on my google search, and though the name was a bit different (American Cash Award) a number of similar stories came up that confirmed it is a fraud. Thank you Ripoff Report, "beware" to everyone else!
