Global Authority, Inc. Disappeared and Stole my 5 packs of 1951 Topps Blue Back Cards sent for grading Bettendorf Iowa
I sent five unopened packs of 1951 Topps Blue Back cards to Global Authority for grading on May 24, 2010. I received a phone call from someone at the company telling me that it looked like the packs had been previously opened so they did not want to grade them and waste my money. He asked if I wanted them to open the packs and grade the cards. I said "No, please return them as I want to go back to the person I bought them from and retrurn them for a refund." He said they would ship them back to me. I called them, sent them letters and e-mails and never heard from them again. As I was cleaning out some old files I found my paperwork from back in 2010 and googled them to find out they went out of business twice already. I lost $1,250 basically without a fight. I imagine the time to collect legally has expired but if anyone knows differently I would love to try to get my money back.
