First things first. I am a representative from Global Financial. I work in Minot, North Dakota and I get paid to rip you off. The more I lie to you, the more money I make. I sell you a card with a $2500 "Pay as you go" limit, for $221.95. Basically, we are taking money from you that you have to put money on to use anyways.

Plus we offer this "Big" benefits package that basically consists of a three-day/two night vacation that you have to pay for yourself, a free cell phone that you have to sign up for at least two years to receive, a free sattelite dish system when signing up with one certain company for 10 years, a free digital camera with 100 rolls of kodac film, when a digital camera doesnt even take film, $100 dollars of free gasoline when you have to buy 10 gallons of gas, send in your receipts, and then you get 1 free gallon, $500 in free grocery coupons where you have to buy groceries to get anything back.

So for all you gangstaz that got ripped off, it was most likely me or one of my homies. So thanks for the phat paycheck. Peace.

So I guess all you websmart employees are now out of jobs and of course I am as well. And no I do not lack a back bone, I walked out a week or two before the company closed down so I got all my vacation pay and my wages. Wishu I bet your feeling pretty dumb for scamming people now, as you got scammed yourself. As for Global being registered with the better business bureau, I think we all know the truth to that now, dont we? Obviously all of us who had doubts about this company were right in the long run.

First, I must address Jessica from Saskatoon, as she seems to be struggling because of her lack of a spine. Either she sells honestly, or she leaves the job she obviously doesn't like. How simple can it be?!

Secondly, to all the people that have been so called "ripped off" by Global Financial, contact the Better Business Bureau! Global Financial is listed out of Atlanta, Georgia and has a great record of dealing with any and all complaints. Rather than whine and complain, do something about it! I truly haven't read more pathetic complaints, what idiots give out their banking information over the phone?!?

Global Financial is a credit restoration company that offers a pay as you go card for those who have lost the privilege of having a credit card, or who have never developed a credit history. I have heard there was such a demand for their service that there was a serious backlog of orders, and that would explain the long waiting periods described above.

I do not consider this company a "scam", because they are listed with the Better Business Bureau, and have addressed all complaints and issues brought to their attention by the Bureau.

To those of you who feel victimized, GET WITH THE PROGRAM, instead of whining, do something about it!

I am an employee of a call center (Websmart interactive Inc) located in Saskatoon saskatchewan canada. We do telemarketing for Global Financial.

Upon reading this particular artical I was disturbed however not terribly suprised. This seems to be the attitude that many employees have developed both at the call centers in the US and in S'toon, CA. The attitude that it is acceptable to lie and misrep in order to increase your pay cheque is not only held by other employees but also by the supervisors.

We are told to "do whatever it takes to get the sale" and often that does involve lying in order to keep your job. Many of the honest people have been weeded out simply because telling the honest-to-God truth does not get you the sales you need in order to bonus and more importantly keep your job.

Its also fairly common for supervisors to not only get on the phone and misrep and give false information, but to also encorage it in team meetings. One of the most common things said about Global is to only mention "PAY-AS-YOU-GO" (refering to the fact that you have to load the card with your own money prior to actually using it) one time during the course of your presentation....Not ever more than once and if a potential customer asks questions, give them run-about answers that dont really answer anything, just confuse the living hell out of them. We are always under the most aweful pressure from management and supervisors...and the supervisors are always under even worse stress and pressure from upper management.

To me, I find this highly upsetting to the point where I am ready to walk out of my job despite the fact that I have been there for a very long time. My comment more so than anything is that it is attitutes like yours Wishu that make people hate telemarketers. The few of us left at Websmart Interactive who are honest sales people with morals and integraty are disgusted by attitudes like yours. I would never derrive pleasure from other peoples suffering even if it did come in the form of a "phat paycheck"

So to all of you who have been screwed by Global, I offer my most sincere appologies.

I am also an employee of a company who does telemarketing for Global Financial, however, my point is different from all of yours. When we began training for this project the employees were not ONCE told to lie to the customer or to mis-lead the customer in anyway. In the script it specifically states that the customer will be receiving a "Store Valued" Visa or Mastercard with a "Pay As You Go" limit of up to $2,500.00. And you can only use the card if there are funds available. It works just like a debit card.
There were never specefics given about the benefits package the customer received and for good reason, as an employee you know that you didn't know what they would receive, that is where you are at fault and should blame yourself and not the company.

No one forced you to lie to the customers, you forced yourselves to do it. Why? Because you were greedy and money hungry. And if your "morals" are as strong as you say they are, than no amount of money would make you lie. There is not one person in the management staff that said to you "If you don't lie to these customers, we are going to fire you".

If you did your job, than you wouldn't feel guilty, but you didn't do your job and you blantently lied to customers out there and now you as FORMER employees of the company want to fuss over this.

For all of the customers who may have received a phone call from one of these "former" employees who are passing the buck and blaming it on the company, I am sorry. Global Financial does help several hundred thousand people who do have bad credit all the time. There are far more success stories than bad stories and it's too bad that none of that ever gets out first.
