Global Gifts & Electronics Sold Cheap knock offs at 'discounted' prices N York, New York
Having originally gone to the store for a charger for my phone the very friendly team of 3 guys started to press hard to sell other items at a third of list price - mainly due to fact that during Hurricane Sandy the street had been blocked off and they were getting few passing customers.....
Looking for Xmas gifts and already having had hotel and other issues with Sandy I was an easy victim of their scams.... and bought a Cybertec video camera not to be found anywhere on Google - a cheap knockoff for $500 but it got worse...... I wanted one of the small projectors for work I had seen which works with an i-pad - again they sold me an unknown brand although I asked for credentials and they found me a name/price google entry (or summary - I suspect it was one of these rip off notices!) and finally a branded Olympus camera - I wanted one with panoramic features ...although this one does not appear on any other Sony site......I was stupid but they are crooks!
