GLobal Trust Group Of Publishers Sweepstakes received a letter stating that i won a publishers clearing house or readers digest internet sweepstakes. Saint John New Brunswick
I received a letter that said i had won the second place drawing of the sweepstakes from publishers clearing and the prize was 90,000.00. with the letter was a check for 2870.00 made out to me with my correct address. there was a number to call and talk with a caty davis at 403-397-9520 which was answered global trust. caty davis told me that i would need to deposit the check in my account and when it had cleared i would need to pull the money out and send to their accounts receivable.
When i asked additional questions she became very rude so i asked to speak to her superviser, thats when i was given to linda thompson who again explained in detail that when i was online and i registered with readers digest or publisher clearing house my name was attached to a winning sweepstakes ticket. this is how i had won the 90,000.00 thousand and if i resent the 2870.00 back to them then a courier would delv the money to me in 48 hours from receipt.
I know this is a scam but they made you feel that it was almost real. so i called back and let them know that i had gained access to the funds and what should i do, they connected me to mary in acct. receivable, who said i needed to get a western union or moneygram and send to them. It will be my mission in life to expose these creeps for what they are. please feel free to call the above number and use this claim number GT/WNN/95189, over and over again.
