Gmac Mortgage Co. they tried to steel our property Waterloo, Iowa
gmac took over our mortgage from another co.who went under for doing ,the same thing gmac is doing when they took it over the payments were up to date. they collected 3 payments and then they sent the fourth one back and said we were behind oct,nov,&dec. of 2003. so we sent a copy of cancel checks. they totally dismissed the checks and proceeded to try to forclose . we went to court 4 times. the judge told them on the fourth try not to bring it back to his court again that they had nothing . they are still trying to get it oh and wont accept any payments on it. my husband is72yrs old i am 66 we dont have the money to fight them with. but when they get it if they do they will have acrude awaking.

I have an 80/20 loan and was unemployed for the last 3 months. I finally got a job and make exactly half of what I used to. I was able to get the 80% mortgage company to work out a remod that I am satisfied with. However, I can't afford the 20% which is gmac. So I called them to work out a remod and they took all my info down and said they would let me know if they could do something. Has anyone been through this? It's only a 20% so I don't think they could foreclose, but I guess they could put lien on the property. But I'm just assuming. I guess I'm worried about their remod charging me 10k like some other guy said. Obviously, if they do that, I have no choice but to not pay. Also, I don't even think they will work out any remod plan because after the lady took down all my info, she said I had $50 left over every month. How are they going to remod something when I have $50 to my name each month?

bonnie try to reach me my troubles started in 2003 also with gmacbadpract@aol you may be one of the hundreds that were screwed over by them i have info you may need about the servicing of your account try reading gmac deaf dumb and blind
