Virginia's comments are 100% correct, I would (and have listened to her.) One thing I would add, slow down, and take a day away from GMAC. Like a one-day vacation! If you're stressed out because of your health and GMAC, nothing will work for you! Second, contact us! We help each other by helping ourselve's fight GMAC. Next month will be our two year anniversary of fighting GMAC in court! Think I should take them to dinner? Sorry, after two years in court, I have to make jokes to keep me sane! (((ROR REDACTED EMAIL ADDRESS))) Once you get there, you will find a GMAC link. If you want to look further, there is also a link that can and will help your health problems. Guaranteed! The only way you will be alone fighting GMAC is by your own choosing! You lost out on your dream home due to GMAC's lack of using a calculator. My kids lost out of each having a rental home paid off when they graduated High-School to pay for college because I had to sell them to pay for our "Dream Come True!" You found this sight, now find us. Alone we fight a losing battle, in numbers we can fight a winning battle! Hi Loretta, Here's an idea to get GMAC's attention, smack it upside the head with a lawsuit. Ask your lawyer to file a complaint. As far as I can tell from your report GMAC is in violation of the federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), as well as, the corresponding state laws of Maryland. The laws are on the book which expressly prohibits GMAC's illegal practices. Folks, we must start using these consumer laws to protect ourselves. Having made reasonable efforts to resolve your dispute nicely it's time to put the shoe on the other foot and kick some business sense into GMAC. Remember, It's not personal, it's business. Loretta, run my suggestion by your attorney and let us know what he thinks about it. Good luck and God bless,
