GMAC Timeshare Timeshare Division GMAC Real Estate Timeshare Rental Program-GMAC telemarketing ripoff agents. BIG promises of timeshare rentals --no results-- just lies, avoidance and deception. Orlando Florida
In April 2008, I received numerous phone calls from GMAC Timeshare Division telemarketers. At first, I was interested in the program and then I learned the company charges the owners a fee of $799. This fee covers the cost for GMAC to market a timeshare week for rental income. My main objection to the program was because of the $799 fee.
One day another GMAC marketer, Talitha Kincaid contacted me and explained the plan she had to market my timeshare. She also explained that there was a shortage of rental properties in Hawaii (Iron Man Competition) and other events in Florida, to make it seem that there would be no problem in renting the week and getting back more than enough to cover the $799 that was charged to my AMEX card. Talitha called me once and left a message about a possible offer, I have not heard from her since.
I have spoken to a manager and told they were working on it. Now, five months later the timeshare week has not been rented, summer is coming to an end and obviously I am still out the $799 I put on my credit card.
If GMAC Timeshares or Talitha Kincaid calls to market this programdo not bother unless you do not need the income. Buyers beware. GMAC seemed to be a reputable company but these telemarketers will say anything to get your money. Hang up on them and do not waste your time.

I ALSO USED GMAC (TWICE) AND ALTHOUGH IT WAS NOT RENTED RIGHT AWAY THE FIRST TIME (TOOK 6 MONTHS, I OWN A FLOATING WEEK) THEY STILL RENTED IT OUT FOR ME AND I GOT A CHECK FOR THE AMOUNT WITHIN 72 HOURS! I CONTINUE TO USE THEM NOW AND THEY JUST RENTED OUT MY WESTGATE LAKES TIMESHARE FOR MORE THAN LAST TIME! THANK YOU GMAC! I RECOMMEND USING THEM!

ARE YOU SERIOUS?? This is most def a employee for the company that claims to be "GMAC TD" YOU GUYS NEED TO STOP PLAYING GAMES, BC IT COULDNT BE ANYMORE OBVIOUS, 1ST OF ALL YOU CANT SPELL THEREFORE WE ALL KNOW THATS A GIVIN DUE TO THE FACT THAT TRU MARKETING WHICH IS THE COMPANY THAT HAS SEVERAL CALL CENTERS USING GMACS NAME ALONG WITH TRAVELOCITY. THERE ARE SEVERAL AGENTS THERE THAT ARE IDIOTS SO THAT TOTALLY GIVES IT AWAY WHEN YOU TRY YOUR HARDEST TO ACT LIKE A SATISFIED OWNER... HAHA... CORNEY!

I am sorry about your bad experiance,,,my experianc was very diffrent i have 3 weeks with Windham resorts and gmac rented all 3 last year within 6 weeks for $2100 each, in fact i am going to have them do the same thing this year,i do know some locations and resorts are harder to rent ,that is natural specialy thees days..you might want to try them again,i understand they have partner up with Travelocaty and that will help alot...good luck..Anna .New York
