I had taken my 2014 GMC Sierra Denali to the dealer for a recall, when I brought up that also the engine was knocking when in the drive position. The associate at the dealership also heard the knocking and stated that she would do the work order for the knocking to have it checked out. This was on July 29, 2014. The vehicle remained in the shop until 29 October 2014. The vehicle was placed on a lift in the shop and worked on by multiple mechanics using all hand tools and nothing factory certified as they explained it to me, because the vehicle is still under warranty.

On 6 Oct 2014, I was informed that my truck was ready to be released to me as after many different attempts to correct the engine they had removed parts and put parts on without fully explaining what was being done. Then I received a phone call later on Oct 6 2014, that the engine was replaced and that the check engine light was now on and that the dealer could not release the vehicle back to me. They then opened another work order for the check engine light, which determined that there was corrosion and other parts that needed replacing. I received the truck back on 29 Oct 2014 for the first time. On Oct 29, 2014, I signed for both work orders to be closed on the same day annotated on the work order documents from Cutter with the Paid stamp dated 29 Oct 2014.
