Dear Ripoff Report,

Today I went into the Davis branch of the Golden 1 Credit Union. Now in every other branch I've been to in Sacramento and in Vacaville the employees were nothing but hospitable. Even in Fairfield which can be a rowdy city sometimes. So, when I went into the credit union my mother was standing in line and I deposited my coins into the sorting machine for a receipt to take up and have exchanged for money. I did this as a non-member. I was charged an extra service fee for this. When I went up to the teller and told her I was not a member she hesitated and insisted on asking if I were a member again. I said I used to be a member and showed her my card. She told me that my card was not active and they didn't have an account for that. I said ok, so what does that mean? She hesitated and called the home office. Upon her return she made like she was doing me a favor, which I did not ask for, and said that she could not refund the money, which I wasn't asking her to do, as I used to be a member and owed the bank money. I said that would be fine if I were doing this as a member. She said but you are a member. I said I'm not doing this as a member and before I could finish explaining my situation I felt rudely cut off being told that I was insulting her by cussing. So I began to schmooze her with real talk as I am a bohemian as well and know my own people. Then she giggled but turned to the customers who looked away fearfully when I looked back at them and suddenly she became cold as ice. She even threatened to call the police on me. Now, I don't know what I was doing that was so intimidating. I even told the lady if you would like I could show you what I mean at the machine what it says. She didn't want to listen to me and insisted on helping my diabetic mother on dialysis who cannot hear well and needs me to tell her what the bank teller is saying. Even my Mother was baffled as to why she could not just give me the money. The lady gave us her business card and when I asked to speak to the manager she said she was the manager. Now at this I admit I said under my breath more than a few profane things in the heat of the moment but then too so would anyone if they were not getting money that is rightfully theirs and they have already been charged as a non-member to recieve. Now me, I take this as a personal hit. My brother used to be involved with a girl named Smith and she was nothing but protective of me. Also, my second cousin has the last name Smith but she lives elsewhere nearer Chico. She too was protective of me as were her relatives on the other side of her family that were the parents of one of my closest childhood friends. Its almost like I'm being approached for something that I have no idea even concerns me. The only thing I can think of is my other brother thats not directly involved has been running up a bar tab saying I will take care of it or something. Now all the local bartenders know that if they call I am just like my father saying I never encouraged or even tolerate that sort of behavior even vaguely. If there were jobs? Yeah I'd pay off my debts. So why aren't there jobs? If I could attend school, of course I'd use money for books to pay off anything I needed to for getting myself in the clear. So why am I told that the school goes by how many classes attempted and not how many attended and completed? Is there a bias here? Against who? Minorities? Which minorities? Liberal ones? In favor of whom? Elitists that fundamentally sell out to the highest bidder in the name of Mormon Joseph Smith that was shot to death inside of a jail cell? This isn't Putin's Russia. If I sound crazy then maybe someone needs to sound crazy so as to get not just answers but the truth. How can we be expected to know what the five star generals do in combat as civilians if we're not also being pushed up through the rank and file too soon as another soldier dies on the battle field? In civilian life, isn't that just the least bit called social climbing? Thank you.

She didn't ask for any of that. At first she only wanted to talk to me. When she couldn't get anywhere with me, she wanted to talk to my Mom. Dude, if I wanted to "scam the system" I would've "scammed the system." You can take that to the bank. Liberals get alot more with honey than your conservative-a** vinegar. As for the other part if you don't like it? Get out of here! Nobody is asking to hear what you like or don't. What are you, Neidermeyer from Animal House now?

If this report is even real, once you get through this novel it looks like one of the biggest loads of BS I have seen in a while written by a deadbeat who thinks they can scam the system.

From what you wrote, you decided to change some coins at the bank at one of their machines.  Now you did this as a "Non-Memember" meaning they take an additional fee.  However, you are truly not a "Non-Member" you are a member who closed their account(or had their account closed) with a balance due.

You tried to pull a nice little scam by not saying you were a member hoping they would just give you the money.  But they caught onto your scam and legally took the money to go against the money you owe them.

Here is the ironic part.  You went with your mom(who I figure is a member).  You could have used her information to change the coin as a member...no fee.  Have her give them the slip, and when she got the money to give it right back to you.  Well that is unless..your mom owes them money too and that is why she was there.

As to your mom being baffled about you not getting the money.  The answer to her is simple.  All you need to tell her is that her child is a deadbeat scammer and they caught you "red handed".

As for the last part of the report..I got totally lost where all of this "Smith" talk came in.
