Goodyear Co. ripoff jacksonville Florida
I took my daughter's car to goodyear tire on main st. before I took it there I pulled the computer code up which was 43 meaning her ingnition module was bad, I went out and bought one and replaced it but it didnt solve the problem so I took it to goodyear, they said it nedded a tune up and were gonna replace the plugs and ignition coil, since I bought one and it didnt help I felt the guy was ripping me off so I asked for the old parts,
after I did that the repair cost went from $282.00 to over 750.00, they said at first the compression was fine in the car, but came back and said number 3 cylinder was only 40pds and the car needed either a valve job or cracked head. The reason I took it there was it was beyond my scope of knowledge.I consider this a ripoff,but your at the mercy of the company in a situation like this.With me asking for the old parts my bill almost tripled if I was to say I didnt want the repair there's no telling what kinda of problems I would have when I got the car back.
