Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

Mr. Parker is good at one thing and that is telling you what you want to hear to win a bid. However when it comes to the execution of work and follow through when the work is complete Mr. Parker fails miserably.  I would never recommend this company to anyone. Not even my worst enemy. To begin with during the bid process communication with Mr. Parker was arduous at best. His bid failed to provide adequate details in regard to fence material, construction technique, warranty information, time to complete job. It took numerous weeks to get the answers to our questions. Several major points that Mr. Parker made when selling us on his company Got Fence, was the fact he would be on the job site during the entire project and that he and his crew are very careful, and clean up all scrap, trash, etc. Mr. Parker was hardly ever on the job site, he and his crew failed to adequately clean up debris after themselves.

During our initial meeting with Mr. Parker my wife and I made it a point that we wanted our fence constructed with the pickets spaced close enough together so that we could not see through the pickets. We also referred to our existing fence as an example. We told Mr. Parker that we could not see through the pickets and that we would expect the new fence to mimic our old fence in regard to privacy. Mr. Parker assured us that he would provide us the fence we were asking for. The gap between the pickets is quite large and because of that we can clearly see through the fence. This issue was mentioned to Mr. Parker several times and each time it seemed to fall upon deaf ears. During the first day of construction Mr. Parker informed us that he had miscalculated the total lineage of fence and would provide us with a price adjustment and refund the overcharge which he failed to do. Mr. Parker had fence supplies delivered and placed upon our lawn and stated said supplies would not sit upon the grass any longer than 48 hours so as not to damage the lawn. The supplies were delivered prior to July 4th and Mr. Parker and his crew were not going to work the weekend of July 4th therefore the supplies were going to be upon the lawn for longer than 48 hours. In addition there was a pallet of concrete mix sitting upon the lawn and my lawn sprinklers were scheduled to come on. I attempted to contact Mr. Parker several times but he would not return calls. Once phone contact was finally made Mr. Parker sent a lone employee to move the supplies by himself. Due to the large quantity and unwieldy nature of the supplies, my neighbor and I had to assist the employee in moving the heavy supplies. Previously the two gates on our fence opened inward. Mr. Parker installed the gates to open outward, which now means I cannot pull up all the way on our driveway because the gate extends out upon the driveway.

Here again this points to the fact Mr. Parker failed to construct the new fence to mimic the old fence. Numerous posts were not compacted with dirt properly and as such large holes opened up around the posts. Due to my concern for safety I had to fill and compact the post holes myself. Mr. Parker placed a 10 ft. post on our side of the fence in a corner to hold up the neighbors 9 ft. fence. This post should have been placed on the neighbor’s side of the fence to hold up their fence. This oversized post looks unsightly and prevents me from installed post top lights as I had planned. I am clearly dissatisfied with the fence and the poor standards of workmanship provided by Mr. Parker and have told him such personally, via phone calls, several emails, and two registered letters. Mr. Parker has failed to reply to any of my communications to rectify the problems I mention here. In addition Mr. Parker has never refunded me the amount of money he overcharged me when he miscalculated the total lineage feet of fence required to do the job. I can'i imagine he will stand behind his warranty if he won't stand behind his work.
