Got The Job Fantasy Resumes Internet
I recently ordered a Resume from gotthejob.com. After reading all the credentials of this person, I decided to allow this company to re write my resume. I paid for the resume and spoke to a Contractor that will be writing my resume. After several days I received that resume back.
First, I noticed the resume had I was a owner operator of a place I worked at and that was not the case. So, i changed the error and put the resume online. I posted the resume using resume rabbit and at least 20 different sites. After 3 weeks, I never heard from one employer. I was following up with everywhere i applied.
Lastly, I sent an email to Don and he replied and told me he will call me 5:30 AM my time to go over resume for a re-write, I agreed. The following morning i woke up at 5:30 AM spoke to Don he asked me to send two more examples of the jobs i was interested in; I did within that week. After two more weeks of waiting for a response, i received another email and a phone call for him to see if he could go over the resume and re-write it. I became angry because we did that two weeks ago.
I end up going to a Resume writing service that charged me 65.00 dollars opposed to 330.00, i received seven interviews in a matter of a two week period and started my new job on March 9, 2015. Moral of story is just because something cost more does not mean it is better. GOTTHEJOB, I feel cheated me but a great lesson learned.
