During the 2010 Ohio gubernatorial campaign, John Kasich promised to get the bad physicians off the street, to promote some improvements at the State Medical Board of Ohio.

Other states, ie Alaska, Wyoming, etc, can use the physicians that Ohio is disciplining for ‘making too much of the bad care in Ohio; physicians disciplined beyond Ohio law for not going along with the 'boys.'  'Don’t ask, don’t tell' who complained – is just wasting money when the witnesses can’t come forward and the problems can’t be solved.  Brad Reynolds is not capable of this kind of ‘constituent affairs’ – he doesn’t know a thyroid from a rotator cuff from an abdominal external oblique muscle.  And he doesn’t care.  Physicians deserve someone who cares on the 30th floor of the Riffe Center, if only for an ephemeral moment of thought.

‘Confidential’ complaints at the State Medical Board of Ohio mean that the physician complaint has little or nothing to do with the physician's patients or patient care – just politics as usual in Columbus.  'Confidential' complaints against physicians have been done away with by every other state – because after you get a MD you deserve to confront your accusers – and medical styles, training, and expertise varies widely.  Many Ohio physicians have more training than the Members of the Ohio State Medical Board.  The US Constitution should protect from false accusations and the taking of someone’s career.  Ohio is currently the worst place to be a woman MD in the US.

Women MDs in Ohio can be ordered to unlimited numbers of psychiatric evaluations in Ohio, at bizarre roadside stops, to discuss their sex lives - not their patient care - for not meeting male, or female, colleague needs, patient referral quotas, or covering up colleague medical mistakes.  Ohio is one of the few remaining states with no medical mistake laws, or laws mandating early referrals for ‘unanticipated’ medical results or complications.  40+ other states have MEDICAL MISTAKE LAWS including Pennsylvania - so why can't the Governor of Ohio get with the other state governors?  They all go to the same meetings.

The endless psychiatric evaluations of female MDs for not doing the personal needs, patient referrals to the 'right' Ohio physicians, or the bonuses to the Medical Board Members goes on in no other state at the present time.  Mr. Whitehouse, the current Director of the State Medical Board of Ohio, never answers his phone about this.  The women MDs in Ohio are just endlessly harassed until they do what the men want - you can't say 'No.'  The Ohio State Medical Board is the biggest 'pimp' in the state for personal favors to certain 'right' physicians.

Governor Kasich promised in his 2010 campaign to clean up the State Medical Board – to have a plan.

Texas I do need you to stop though

Texas I've been through too much - the postings are to ask that the case be reviewed, by the Ohio State Medical Board, and that the emotional damage of me stop.  No one survives what I've been through without horrible suffering - emotionally & physically - do you not see that?  It's suffering that I would not wish on anyone - but the problems should have been solved in a non-punitive improve-the-bad-care way.  I nearly died of medical neglect as an MD, and I should not have to be putting this on a public forum.

The initial fractures took 2 years to heal as the bone problem was not treated or diagnosed - no blood work allowed.  The subsequent fractures, and neglect, have taken a lot out of me; I'll never be the same person - but I can only get treated for what I have - not for what Ohio politics would like me to have or be.  I'm asking that YOU, and the OHIO STATE MEDICAL BOARD, STOP.

Mistakes happen, but the best advice is to admit as soon as possible and try to undo - that is what is recommended by The American College of Physicians; not to lie.  The thyroid condition was not correctly diagnosed, or treated, for 10 years because of attitudes like yours and the Ohio Medical Board.  The thyroid damage will not be able to be undone; you can't leave a thyroiditis untreated for 10 years while you accuse the person of everything else for politics.

The postings are for Governor Kasich and for Ohio legislators - that they grow up and stop destroying their best women MDs in Ohio.

Have a great day but find another hobby.

The Ohio Medical Board has admitted to cheating in my case - but they have no protocol to put things back together - and Texas you need a life

The Ohio State Medical Board cheated in my case - they have admitted it - but they have no way 'out' without medical mistake laws for the State Medical Board.  Legislative reforms are needed at the State Medical Board of Ohio - and have been for two decades.  Let me say it again, the Ohio State Medical Board CHEATED in my case.  In any civil court the case would have been dismissed, and the Ohio Court of Appeals threw out the case in 1993.

The Ohio Medical Board has known about the problems with false physician cases since at least 1998-9, when they offered to open my case for 'reforms.'  The offer was accepted and then reneged - no explanation given.  At that time, there was a pile of false actions against physicians in a stack in Columbus, cases that the Executive Director was trying to undo, disciplines that they knew were 'false' - cases wasting physician careers for politics and laziness - for colleague jealousies.  Reform legislation will take thought and effort to write and put through the Ohio House & Senate.  My case is the worst case in that stack; no patient complaints, a woman MD's license taken for objecting to the wrong care or herself.  It doesn't get any worse than that.

My 'case' is the only case of this type at any Medical Board in the US; it's Kafkaesque - a physician's license taken for making too much of bad care - care that doesn't go on in any other state.  You don't leave a wrist fracture to ripen to 'excrescence,' nor try experimental casts, that have never worked, on wrist fractures of a woman MD - except in Ohio that is.

Further, states that take physician licenses for the wrong diagnosis have to pay for the physician to be rehabilitated - Ohio doesn't want to pay - and sometimes if the case is bad enough, they have to pay damages under state law.  There may be a State Governor that wants physicians so bad that a couple thousand dollars to bring that physician up-to-date would be small change and worth it.  Some states have in-state, already developed and working, physician re-training programs to bring physicians 'back' out of early retirement or false accusations - just not Ohio.

I've offered to leave without the State of Ohio paying anything - just to leave Ohio with my medical license - so far Mr. Whitehouse can't answer his phone.  Governor Kasich needs to reconsider opening the false physician suspensions for reforms - that's why he was elected, i.e. for change.

Governor Kasich is a businessman and I'm publicly appealing to his business sense on ripoff.  Governor Kasich knows that other states have very different procedures at their State Medical Boards - procedures that are saving these states huge amounts of money in not processing false cases.  Each false case at the State Medical Board of Ohio costs the State of Ohio about $500,000 at least to the first Hearing.  That's a lot of wasted money - then they lose the physician's services, taxes, and the money spent to train those physicians - and the physicians have to retrain.

The Rorschach was done above the Chinese restaurant in the picture - with no answers recorded, no witnesses - and in a very strange office by a very strange man with abstract chicken pictures on the walls - the stuff of Black Swan nightmares.  It was fraud - however it is presently a state representative & senator joke in Columbus - that women can be put through this trauma - the men think it football fun.  Just like the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo it was abuse - and it wouldn't be done to a guy MD/DO.  The orthopedic care has been admitted by the Medical Board to have been 'boys being boys care.'  That's allowed in Ohio, but wouldn't be allowed in Texas.

The Medical Board of Ohio also made up a diagnosis that didn't exist, and charged the state taxpayers for these experts - twice in the 1990s - taxpayers who helped pay for my medical education.  Governor Kasich campaigned to straighten things out.  But Ohio is not Texas - where I was born in an Army hospital, and I've wanted to go back, to pay back this country, long before now.  And I would have been a good Army MD; Army brat that I was.

The purpose of continued postings is to highlight the problems, and hope that maybe some rural Ohio community will petition Governor Kasich for an internist - and that reforms will allow me to go back to work without more evaluations, lies, or nastiness.  I'm a Board Certified Internist with thousands of hours of CME's and other degrees at this point - a highly educated waste.

Texas does not have 'confidential' complaints against physicians - where physicians, that are jealous, went to medical school with you and hated you, or who left your fractures uncasted, can complain that you need 'help' so that you don't sue them.  Several of the people who signed the complaint against me, and we know some of the signers, were physicians that I never met, saw, or heard speak - they were paid signers.   Every other state except Ohio will not take a physician's license until that physician is allowed care-to-function - blood work, fracture care, and physical therapy.  And every other state allows physicians to confront their accusers and defend themselves before 18+ years.  My MD will go with me to the grave - used or unused.

The blood work was never allowed in Ohio, but had to be done in other states.  The fractures needed more therapy that was recommended as my license was being suspended.  My license was suspended so that the orthopedics wouldn't be sued - so that the statute of limitations would expire as the care was bad.

Now the case has been continued so that the Medical Board Members won't be sued - although the Executive Director has admitted that the statute of limitations is over for the Board - so why the continued stupid fight?  Both male orthopedics were asked to just refer with one sentence - and to sign off - no blame, no complaint, no malpractice - but because there were no official medical mistake laws in Ohio - they started to lie to cover-up - and the fractures collapsed more.  It took two years to heal the fractures - not a good thing.

Medical mistake laws, reforms at the State Medical Board of Ohio, and some common medical sense are needed in Ohio.  The case against me is fraud, there was a missed diagnosis causing the fractures that was on the blood work.  So it's 2011 and neither you, nor the State Medical Board, can get over it.
