Grandmaster.com, BEWARE SCAM!!Requested $1.99 CD--they Charged My Bank Acct For 2 Mos Of $39.95 Charges-would've Continued If I Hadn't Called! Typical SCAM!! Shame is - they're preying on people who might be interested in a grant because they're ALREADY LACKING MONEY! Terrible! You think you're signing up for a CD of grant info for $1.99 shipping and they immediately start charging you a MEMBERSHIP FEE! When called to get refund, at first they only offer to refund part! Ultimately they try to make you think it was in the Terms/Cond's-NO!

This unethical SCAM of a company preys on people who are already NEEDING money and TAKE MONEY FROM THEM! I don't know how they sleep at night. Obviously a group of people who have no other way to make money themselves than to steal it!

Described above how they offer the CD of grant info and 'you only have to pay shipping and handling of $1.99'. Then they IMMEDIATELY start charging your bank account a membership fee (mine was $39.95/month for two months before I discovered it!).

When you call to cancel, they tell you they'll refund PART OF IT! Well I escalated my call to put it nicely and they agreed to refund all of it and cancel the 'account'...I will SEE if they refund it all...

Even after they did this, I asked to be escalated to someone I could make a complaint against the company with. Who knows who I really got, but she tried to make me think it was all in the Terms and Conditions when I put my info in for the CD. I looked into it and NOWHERE does it specify that you're agreeing to a $39.95/month membership to ANYTHING! And believe me, if I had gotten the CD and found out there WOULD BE a membership and fee for it, I would have called and cancelled before it ever started!

I think it's disgusting and I hope this helps stop others from falling for this. Ultimately, what comes around will go around for people who do things like this...

There is a bonus free trial period to the membership websites that accompanies the free CD and we do our best to disclose this as it is stated on the sales page, the order page, the confirmation page and in the 1st paragraph of the Terms and Conditions of the offer. The trial period is free for 7 days and we would not have charged Suzi had she canceled during the trial period. It is not our desire to bill clients who do not want the membership after the free trial offer ends. When you order our product you must select "Ship My FREE Kit!". Right next to that button is the following statement: Terms and Disclosures. By clicking "Submit" I am ordering the Grant Master CD and trial membership for one dollar and ninety-seven cents, after the 7-day trial I will be charged thirty-nine dollars and ninety-five cents a month thereafter if I do not cancel. I also agree to the 14 day and 21 day bonus trials to Express Business Funding and Network Agenda for seven dollars and ninety-five cents a month and nine dollar and ninety-five cents a month thereafter, should I choose not to cancel. I have read and agree to the PRIVACY POLICY (last updated: 02/12/2007) & Terms and Conditions. Charges will appear on credit/debit statements as "GrantSearchAsst".To cancel call 1-866-396-5694, M - F, 9am - 9pm EST.
