I spent some time with the various phone numbers given on this site and finally got to talk with a girl named Auggie at 1-800-986-2720. She gave me the signed up for service, CD routine, for which I did not sign up. Then agreed to cancel the service and refund the $29.95. I contacted my Master Card and told them not to authorize any more charges. Will wait and see on this. I got a confirmation number and a company name, Raven Media. Maybe this will end it.

There are grants but you have to qualify for them. They are for things like education, small business loans, etc. There is no such thing as easy or free money. The grant process is very complicated and takes time, effort, and lots of paperwork and most people do not qualify. You are never told you qualify upfront. ftc.gov/bcp/conline/pubs/alerts/grantalrt.htm from the FTC discusses these grant scams. It is great that you are trying to warn others but most people fall for the scam then do research and check places like this, the ftc, or the bbb.
