Complete bait and switch...After they finished packing the whole truck up, they came out and told my mother, who is assisting me while I'm in North Carolina, that the total went from 1029.99 to 2297. So in the matter of a few hours the quote more than doubled... The movers did not explain the various packing they were doing or the cost associated with that until they finished doing it all. Also stuff that was included in my quote they now recharged me for such as the 2 mattress covers. I am an extremely unsatisfied customer, basically I have to get a call from my mom telling me they took her $500, the quote went up to almost $2300 and if we decide to cancel they will charge us 150 per hour they spent loading/unloading. It was more or less a bait and switch with a damned if you do damned if you dont. They also would not allow us to talk with our original Rep I think her name was Rebecca. They said the same thing as another report I just read, basically the truck is already loaded so I need to work it out with the office in between traveling. I will be filing a complaint with the B.B.B and the attorney general for Fraud. I wish I had read the reports before I had hired them.
