Green Buffalo Moving, Inc. Unconscionable thieves, vandals; incompetent movers Encino, California
I've moved several times in recent years and NEVER had an experience that even approached the one recently with Green Buffalo. Yes, things can, and do, often go wrong in a move. It is to be expected. However, Green Buffalo is, at best, completely incompetent. At worst, they may be liars, cheats, thieves and vandals operating under the guise of a moving company. Our losses at the hands of this company total about $25,000. Virtually every item of our furnishings (except two chairs) was severely damaged. MANY other valuable items simply never were delivered. Stolen? I think so, though the company owner Sergey Takanov claims that they were "merely misplaced". They have offered us $200 in compensation and seem quite proud of their generosity ($25,000 = $200????). They packed the truck as if they were handling trash, simply tossing furniture items on top of one another. The packing materials we were provided consisted of a few delapidated boxes. They didn't honor the contract which stipulated three workers (they sent two). I could continue to elaborate and I wish that I could provide the pictures I have along with this written report. Any description here can not do justice to what I'm trying to convey. The entire experience was THAT over-the-top horrible. I believe that these dishonorable people should not be allowed to remain in business. They are truly awful.
