Hi, I was wondering if anybody would be interested on helping many citizens who are getting scams and fraud from a known corporation.
The Green Dot Corporation has their
Prepaid Cards sold all over the country, example: Wal-Mart just joined the company, Walgreens, Rite Aid, CVS, etc...




I am very stressed and affected over this issue today; my husband and I had been saving money to buy plane tickets for me and my son to join him in California, he's been working over there.
We were finally going to buy it today, so, we decided to put the money into a green dot card to buy the tickets on-line. He bought the card, gave me the activation #, so I tried on their website, twice, finally, they said that my personal information didn't match and that a refund was automatically set up to be mailed, and that I'll be getting it in 10 days. Ridiculous.




So I called the company, the service is horrible, they take forever, then a guy tells me he can't change the system because once the refund is setup, they can't change it. I asked for somebody who had access to the system, he put me on hold, then said nobody could come to the phone and that they would call me back. Never did call. So I called back, I got transferred to different people, probably more than 7 times, at the end, they tell me, they can't do nothing for me, that the computer already sent the refund and nobody in there could change the system.




I had no option, I couldn't even set up the card under my husband's name or anything else. Now, I can't buy my tickets, the price of the tickets will probably go up, and I won't be able to buy them today. Anyway, I'm frustrated, stressed or anything u could thing of.
I also read many other people complaining on-line about even worse things this company did to them.




Now Wal-Mart also joined them,
How many more people are going to go through the same?
I saw other people complain they never got their money back, so I'm afraid I'll never see my money again, and I really need it.
I don't think people these days have this kind of extra money to sit for 10 days and wait.
I told them, I need to use the money today, NOW, not in 10 days.

Please help.  Do something for the Pissed off, scammed Citizens !!!!
