My Ex-Husband and I bought the mobile home from a Trailer Park in ROme, Ga In 1994. We financed the home for 18 years. My Mother and Dad Co-signed with us at that time. We were told by Green Tree that after paying on the home a year that the home would go into our name and out of my parents names.

Well needless to say, that didn't happen, just the opposite did. Our names came off and my Moms and Dads names stayed on. Well My husband and I

recently Divorced. Upon him leaving I learn that he left me behind almost 3

months. I have tried to catch them up and I have tried to work with this company.

But instead of getting the info I need I get Harrassing calls every day and so do my parents. Now this is 2008 the trailer was purchased in 1994, Financed for only 18 yrs. Well my ex_husband and I were married 13 1/2 yrs. Now they are saying that we owe 11,000 dollars still. And they have started getting numbers for people that we didn't even know back then and they are calling them now. These people have no business doing this. I have three little boys and I am tired of these harrassing calls and this "bull" from this company.

I am willing to do what ever I need to to get rid of them once and for all. HELP!

Hannah if your parents listed themselves as the owners, and you and your ex as renters then they would have it on file. But, they do not honor divorce decrees, so you and your ex will still be liable for payments. Things to ask your parents should be: have there been any deferrals on the mtg? if so thats another problem, deferrals are no good unless you have no income. They take your 1-2 months and put it on the back end of your loan and then tack on interests so if you started out owing $15k then had deferrals that jumps back up, you become upside down. as far calling neighbors they will skip trace if they have no contact with you at all. My strong advice once you find out if who is the rightful owner have them sell it, ASAP i hope that helps
