After reading about requesting a copy of my credit history from Conseco AKA Green Tree, I followed through with the suggestion. I sent the request letter certified as suggested from my girlfriend. Yesterday I recived a notice in my mailbox I had a certified letter from Green Tree to pick up at the post office. After signing for it I found it was not to be the copies of my credit payment history, but a letter of Multistate notice of default and Acceleration. I have never been sent one of these letters before for being late in payment. My girlfriend feels they are doing this to put off sending me my credit report because their trying to hide something, so their using this late dilinquent in payment as a means in holding off my request for a copy of my credit report. My girlfriend has kept copies of the letters sent and the certified reciepts. She will be sending out the same letter again certified. Thanks for taking the time in reading this .

Marilynn order a payment history ASAP from GreenTree. We thought we were paying additional funds to the principal also. At the end of the year we got our W-9 and it was all added to the interest. GreenTree will let you think you are reducing the balance and then reallocate the money at their own discretion. They do as they please. Order a payment history now when it is fresh as to your payments to prevent them from the reallocation of your funds. If not at year end they will place it where ever they what it to go. After fighting with this company for over five yeaqrs now. I took my income tax refund ,caught up and started paying at the beggining of the month. My payments where due on the 25th of the month and almost all of it went to interest. But now that I pay at the beggining of the month almost all of it goes to principle. I wish you luck because they change the rules as they go along it seems.
