GreenTree Servicing refused to contract with over 40 states to access hardest hit funds set aside by the Federal Government for Distressed Homeowners. There is about 8 Billion Dollars available that Homeowners can access for relief if the company is a "participant" of the program. Everyone should know that Green Tree is reluctant to do this for reasons not known!
Case in point, I recently spoke to the REP at the state of Nevada who sent GreenTree the application so they can participate in this program. She begged me to contact them and inquire why they have not responded. The hardest hit funds will PAY 9 months of your mortgage in full to the Bank aka Greentree if you stay in your home for three years. There are other options that are also available and Greentree has still not responded.
Incompetence? Indifference? Poor Business practices? A combination of all three perhaps? You decide, please contact GreenTree today and ask WHY they have not signed up for these free programs and ask for their CEO!
Outrageous to say the least, very un-american and COLD. You can see by all the complaints everywhere on this company on the web about this company. I think the Attorney General should investigate and perhaps shut them down!

The "BIGGEST LIE" in the history of the world was exposed on the internet on May 31, 2008 at 9:13 PM.
You can 'Google' this- ALL READER COMMENTS BUSINESSWEEK MELISSA WOODS, and click on the BusinessWeek link and read what was posted in the comment on May 31, 2008 at 9:13 PM for proof.
Fact: Four months later, in September of 2008, the banking system collapsed and the stock market crashed. On September 29, 2008, the Dow Jones lost a record 777 points and the banking system in the USA and all over the world melted down. The American people were forced to bail-out the failed system with hundreds of billions of dollars in taxpayer's money from the TARP.

Green Tree Servicing Wont help because they make more money by foreclosing on your house . They already received their 162 million dollars in WELFARE TARP FUNDS , which incidently , they will never pay back . Green Tree's HAMP Programs looks like this:
TARP FUNDS + Foreclosed Homes = Huge Profits For Green Tree .
The consumer loses out with no home and repayment of the TARP DEBT through higher taxes .
