Ripoff Report Verified™ REVIEW:

EDitor’s UPDATE: Positive rating and recognition has been given to Green Van Lines for their commitment to excellence in customer service.

Ripoff Report’s ongoing discussions with Green Van Lines have uncovered a very strong commitment by the company to complete customer satisfaction. Their customers can expect that Green Van Lines will strive to reach a mutual agreement that will be satisfactory for the client. Green Van Lines is very attentive to customer needs and aims to improve their services with every move that they perform.

Green Van Lines is unique in the moving industry for many reasons including that they were the first Eco-Friendly moving company in the USA. They have a unique pricing system that provides a flat price based on the inventory list provided which enables their clients to be in full control of the total cost.

Green Van Lines stands out amongst other moving companies for many reasons and is a prime example of what a superb business that values its customers most should look like. Their constant striving to perfect the art of moving and performing the relocation in a professional manner while at the same time keeping their customers at ease is a very pleasant sight to behold. One of the other things Ripoff Report learned in the course of its review: typical customer feedback reads: “Green Van Lines are superb in all aspects starting from communication and to the overall moving experience.” We are very pleased with the responsiveness that they have shown and continue to show on a daily basis. They are serious about their goals to keep every client satisfied and to perform the absolutely best job possible.

The information provided in this report below is based on comments made by General Manager Greg Koren and Operations Manager Isaac Levy during an onsite inspection held by a third party verification company with no biases toward Green Van Lines.

Green Van Lines typically acquires leads through word of mouth, referrals, and internet marketing such as Paperclick, Google, Yahoo!, and Bing. They also utilize real estate agents and billboards as a method of marketing and none of their marketing tactics involve paper. The company has developed software through Facebook that allows real estate agents to refer clients. Each of these methods produces about the same amount of leads.

GREEN VAN LINES / Quality Price Quoting Process.

When a customer contacts their company, they are given a quote for the requested services. Quotes are provided in one of the following ways: phone, mobile application, or personal home visit. Their company tries to avoid giving quotes over the phone or through the mobile application because their preferred method is an in-home visit. Even though the mobile application was developed by Green Van Lines, they believe that a more accurate quote can be provided during a face to face in-home visit.

With the mobile app, the customer is able to add or remove specific pieces of furniture that will increase or decrease the overall cost of their move. However, during an in-home visit, the customer is provided with a “not to exceed” price quote. Regardless of the volume or size, the overall cost of the move will not increase, but may actually decrease in price. In-home inspections account for 80% of their overall quotes.

If a customer chooses to receive a quote over the phone, they are given a binding quote rather than the “not to exceed” quote. In order to close the sale, senior estimators are assigned to each customer and will work with them throughout the process. The customer is not required to provide a deposit, but an electronic signature is required in order to confirm the reservation.

GREEN VAN LINES / Complaint Resolution

Initially, when dealing with a complaint, the customer is contacted in order to document all of the information. Then, a dispatch operations manager is assigned to the case and decides how best to resolve the complaint. If the complaint involves a claim of damage, a repairman is sent to the home to repair the item. If the complaint cannot be resolved, the next step is for the customer to file a complaint with the claims department. The claim will then be resolved based upon the type of insurance that the customer purchased. The company software program that was developed to guide the customer through the moving process has links to the Better Business Bureau and various other websites related to this industry.

During the onsite interview General Manager, Greg Koren was asked to describe a specific situation in which a customer was not satisfied with the level of service the received: “One customer received a phone quote and was given a cost estimate. Once the movers arrived on the day of the move, they realized that the customer had more items than originally documented on the inventory list with the phone quote. The customer was advised of the increase in price due to the increase in inventory and agreed to the extra cost. Later, the customer complained because of the additional cost. The customer was given a discount on the additional service cost and was happy with the outcome.”

Flexible Refund Policy and Customer Satisfaction.

In order to maintain customer satisfaction, Green Van Lines has established a flexible refund policy. If a customer has fewer items than they originally estimated on the inventory list, then they will pay less for the overall cost of the move. In addition, if the customer does not use certain services, such as full service packing, then those costs will be removed. Their company strives to make the customer 100% happy. If there are any damage claims, they aim to go above and beyond to try and remedy these issues. They will provide a repairman to make an onsite visit to a home to repair an item at no cost. If the item is unrepairable, the claims department gets involved. If there is a problem, their company wants to take care of it because they guarantee 100% satisfaction.

"In order to keep complaints to a minimum, a senior estimator is assigned to each case to make sure the customer is 100% satisfied. In-person home quotes are preferred and recommended in order to provide the client with a more accurate cost analysis. The employees provide a written estimate and a new inventory list when they arrive onsite the day of the move. If anything is different from the initial quote, the company offers the 'not to exceed' pricing guarantee and also offers an arbitration program to resolve issues. The company offers settlements, or the customer will file a claim with the claims department.”

~Operations Manager Isaac Levy

Green Van Lines is not affiliated with any other companies. However, they do use “authorized agents” from time to time to perform delivery services only, not the packing services. They only use these “authorized agents” when their own trucks or employees are not available and the customer has an immediate need for delivery. Their company does not tell the customers that they are dealing with an “authorized agent,” but these agents are 100% supervised by company employees.

In order to make things right with their customers, Green Van Lines has focused on building their customer service department. Their estimators do the pricing quotes and also provide customer service. Their training program is also constantly being reviewed and improved. Finally, their company strives to have no confusion with their pricing. They want to give their customers the worst case scenario and then give them a cheaper rate when possible.

What Sets Green Van Lines apart from the rest / Eco-Frienly Services

To set themselves apart from other companies in their market, Green Van Lines has incorporated eco-friendly practices into their business. For example, their company cars are hybrids, the company trucks use biodiesel fuel, their cardboard boxes are biodegradable, the company uniforms are made from organic fibers, and the company supports and are involved with several eco-friendly organizations. In addition, the movers that they hire are actual employees of the company, they are not temporary workers. Their employees are required to complete a three week training program. Through this program, movers learn to pack, wrap, protect items, and stock items on the truck.

Another way in which they set themselves apart from competitors is by utilizing their “not to exceed” price method. They maintain that they are the first company to come up with this pricing method and are the only company to put it in process. Lastly, Green Van Lines believes that the type of information they provide to the customer is different from others. They provide a mobile application and a CD with information on how to plan a move, and it includes everything the customer needs to know to plan a successful move. They maintain that they are not the cheapest or most expensive company, but the customer gets what they paid for. The company also has their own storage facility with individual units and drive up access that is also climate controlled.

GREEN VAN LINES / Statements from management.

"Green Van Lines is a pleasure to work for and I love to see the smiles of appreciation from all of our clients.”

Green Van Lines movers are full time employees and are performing their job on a daily basis. They are true professionals and know how to properly handle all aspects of the entire relocation process. Although this is not surprising as each individual mover goes through a 3 month training program prior to ever going out on their first job.

Green Van Lines also takes employee satisfaction very seriously and is always trying to make the working environment friendly and positive. As stated by one of the movers “The management is there for us to ensure we are at our best at every job that we go out to.” Ripoff Report was pleased to learn that Green Van Lines business approach is focused on total and complete commitment towards customer and employee satisfaction.

STATED IMPROVEMENTS FROM GREEN VAN LINES.

"We are always looking for ways to improve our services and are open for any suggestions that we receive. We have developed a tracking system for any lost or missing items to retrieve them as quickly as possible for our customers. We work with a unique pricing system in order to avoid price increases on the day of the move. Out of the thousands of moves that we perform each year, for over 95% of them the price remains the same or decreases. We extended our training program for our movers to ensure the safety of our customers belongings.

The main internal process that their company is currently working on is to lessen the amount of items that are damaged or broken while being moved. This is always an issue in their industry but their company wants to minimize any damages. Their movers are trained on how to property pack and move items. Also, they assign one employee to stock the truck while the others bring them the items.

They value their company’s reputation and want to be around for many years. They strive to get complaints resolved in 14 days, rather than the 63 days it currently takes. They are working to develop software that can submit claims electronically in order to speed up this process.

Green Van Lines is pleased to be a part of Ripoff Report’s Corporate Advocacy Business Remediation and Customer Satisfaction Program. They feel it is very important to show customers that they are dedicated to customer service and to show they are a good and reliable company. Their reputation is very important to them and they do not like to see any negative feedback. They believe that this process is important to their customers.

Green Van Lines recognizes that complaints posted on Ripoff Report (whether true or not) are issues that need to be addressed, not ignored. If handled correctly, complaints can be valuable learning opportunities. With the feedback generated by Ripoff Report’s Investigation Green Van Lines has made organizational changes allowing its clients and employees a more streamlined approach to problem resolution and a commitment to a great client experience.

In summary, after our review, which included discussions with Mr. Qazi, Ripoff Report is convinced that Green Van Lines is committed to quality delivery of services resulting in total client satisfaction.

Green Van Lines fraudulent liars crooks and green milesgangsters Parent company of F rated StateWide Relocation Avoid at all costs

Don't be fooled by the altogether fraudulent website with the green fields and the flying white dove.
Don't be fooled by the phony glowing reviews they wrote about themselves. Don't be fooled by the
friendlychatter of the people you talk to on the phone. Green Van lines,Addision TX is not a legitimate company.

Green Van Lines aka the green miles gang is a criminal enterprise. Run by crooks ,liars, and a bully who systematically defraud, coerce, and rob unsuspecting consumers. They should be behind bars and walking the green mile.Instead they are still at large defrauding and robbing innocent people all the time.Avoid them at all costs.

This moving company is a front for other criminal activities. They are part of what is known as organized crime. If you somehow get stuck with them as a result of a referral cancel the move IMMEDIATELY. No matter what the
circumstances or cost.Do not under any circumstances hire or deal with this company. You will live to regret it. Hopefully.
They may be armed and dangerous. They are not rational people. Never mind a green company.

The only green, Guy the goon Cohen the owner of this company , and his mob of movers are
interested in is thegreen in your wallet. Other then that- they'd just as soon see you pushing up daisies in a field of GREEN grass somewhere. That's their idea of customer service.

As detailed in a letter to the Federal Trade Commission below, they set me up. They promised to do my move
from NY to IA. But they lied right to my face. Then they referred my move to StateWide Relocation aka StatePen Dislocation Miami FL their partner in crime. The owner is Arik the Freak Azulay,Miami FL This company, StateWide Relocation, showed up completely unannounced the day of my move. I had never even heard of,never mind contacted StateWide Relocation prior to my move.Green Van Lines never notified me,never even ASKED me, if I wanted
StateWide Relocation to do my move.In fact they reassured me just 3 days before the move that they'd be there for the pick up.

And I didn't have to worry-they had their own fleet of trucks. So no monkey business. That's what they told me on the phone and that's what it said on the website! The day of the move,StateWide Relocation showed up instead in a dirty graffitti covered rent-a-van.And then proceeded to steal 10 containers of my belongings worth over $9,000.

The stuff my Mom had left me when she passed away-just 3 weeks before. They came right into the very room
where she left this world picked up the belongings she had left me and STOLE them! How LOW can you go? They are CRIMINALS.And they did it all with the help of their criminal parent company,Green Van Lines.
The story of this whole set-up and robbery is detailed below in my letter to the FTC.

IN AUGUST OF THIS YEAR, 2012, STATEWIDE RELOCATION  WAS RATED F BY THE BBB
See my Ripoff Report on them, report # 928306,along with  6 others about this awful company.
They have changed their address FOUR times in the 2 years I've had the great misfortune to know of their miserable existence. Doubtless this company is also a front for other criminal activities by the owner and his employees.

Green Van Lines lost their BBB accreditation a while back. StateWide Relocation never had any. So if you're thinking about moving don't hire them or their eco friendly  parent company Green Van Lines. Because they wrecked the
ecology of my life for over 2 years now. They do this all the time. It's how they do their business.Google this company and read the reviews. These creeps are low down crooks. And Green Van Lines is really part of the
moving mob.Read my report below-I was lied to every step of the way. Before and after the move ,by everyone I contacted . So do yourself a favor. Forget the moving business mob altogether. Get a u-haul and move it yourself.

To the Consumer Resource Center:

This complaint is in regards to two moving companies involved in a household consumer goods move
I made from NY to IA from September 2-September 13, 2010.
The companies are:

StateWide Relocation         Green Van Lines
1922 NE 22nd Ave              4015 Belt Line Rd
Miami FL 33180                   Addison TX 75001

                                                           www.greenvanlines.com

On August 26, 2010 I contacted Green Van Lines, Addison TX about a planned move from NY to IA. I spoke
with Misty Way who assured me that they would be there to pick up my belongings on the agreed upon date. She told me I work for a very honest company.

The day of the pick up arrived September 2, 2010.But with it-no Green Van Lines. Instead a completely different company called StateWide Relocation Miami FL was at my door. In a dirty graffitti covered rent-a-van. Who were they? Where did they come from?I had just finished packing literally 10 minutes before. I was standing in the room where only a few weeks before, my Mom had passed away.

Most of the belongings waiting to be moved she had left me. I was still deeply grieved and in shock about
losing her. But I had to move out of the apartment where I had cared for her for nearly the past six years. The rent was way beyond my means. The movers were rude and officious. Talking on the phone to the office in a foreign language. Russian to be exact. They weren't from the U.S. They told me that. And they didn't even like our country. They told me that too.I could identify them if necessary. The foreman's signature is on the bill of lading.

My questions then given the results of my move are these:
Does StateWide Relocation hire and employ illegal criminal aliens? Do they belong to a foreign criminal
organization? Is the owner of this company himself an illegal alien?
With a criminal record? Does he belong to a clandestine criminal organization?

The hiring of illegal aliens is common practice in the moving businessfrom what I understand. The influence and illegal activities of organized crime in the trucking business are well known. The federal courts and prison system testify
to that.Right up to the present day.The 2003 FBI sting in Miami FL resulting in the arrest and indictment of 16 heads of companies and 74 operators revealed once again the pervasive presence of the criminal element among movers.I would not be at all surprised to discover that the owner and employees of StateWide Relocation were
among those arrested in that FBI sting.

But back to my move. All my arrangements had been made. All my belongings were packed. What could I do? Sleep on the floor? I should have. I drove to IA alone in my little car with the most precious of the belongings my Mom had left me.
And gratefully not entrusted to StateWide Relocation.

The day of the drop off arrived. September 13, 2010. But a substantial amount of my belongings did not. StateWide Relocation was paid $3897 cash, yet failed to deliver 10 containers of my belongings holding 160+ items valued at $9160
approximately.

How do professional movers lose six paintings, purportedly in packing done by StateWide Relocation,an electric guitar amp,a 5000 btu fedder's a/c unit in it's original packing, a woolen blanket made for me by my Mom with her own
hands, her original recipe books,a chime clock,a small color tv and more then 100 other items. One of the 3 rubbermaid totes was 5x2x2- How do you LOSE all that stuff? Can anybody say CROOKS ?The driver blamed the idiots at the warehouse for the missing items and then told me to call Barbie. Barbie Scavella to be exact. To no avail. I filed a claim with CSI Claim Services International Port St Lucie FL.

Where are my belongings? In a pawn shop? In Guy Cohen's office? In Arik Azulay's house? I never received
them. And I paid $3897 CASH for this? To be-robbed? These so called movers came into my Mother's apartment,
into the very room where she had, only a few weeks before, passed away. Then they stole the things
she had left me. They are low down crooks. But they are not going to get away with it. Not if I can help it.

As if the robbery wasn't bad enough theclaim process was like pouring salt in an open wound.CSI offered me $99 as a
settlement offer. What an outrage. I refused that offer. The company's second and final good faith offer was $400. $9160 undelivered goods + $3897 CASH paid to StateWide Relocation = $13,057 out of my pocket- and their
final good faith offer is $400? What kind of good faith is that? About 3 cents worth. Because that's what their offer
was- 3 cents on the dollar. Thanks, but no thanks. I did not, could not, accept that offer either.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.Suddenly StateWide Relocation offered to pay for  my move. From $99 to $3897 in the space of one complaint? Why the sudden reversal by this company? Does a legitimate company conduct business in this way? No it doesn't.This is a criminal and disreputable company as a loss of accreditation and a recent D rating from the Better Business Bureau attests. They've had three different addresses in the year  and 5 months I've had the great displeasure and misfortune to know of their existence.Green Van Lines has also just lost it's BBB
accreditation and it's rating has gone down as well.

No one from Green Van Lines had told me that a completely different company would do my move.
They just lied right to my face.Misty Way and Levi.As they will doubtless lie to the FTC
or anyone who asks about my move. But in fact,Levi had assured me just days before the pick up that they'd be there at the agreed upon time and date. Good thing they are avery honest company-otherwise who knows if I'd be alive today?

I gave no one permission torefer or broker my move. BUT THESE COMPANIES HAD ME TRAPPED AND THEY
KNEW IT. It was a set-up.From the get-go.Green Van Lines never had any intention of doing my move. It was all lies. Then StateWide Relocation robbed me.I would not be at all surprised to find out that they fenced my belongings to their crooked eco-friendly accomplice and parent company-Green Van Lines. There was nothing green about my move. They wrecked the ecology of my life for over a year. That phony website of theirs is criminal. It should be
taken down immediately. So no one else gets taken in.That company is a complete fraud.

And I had never heard of StateWide Relocation in my life.I did not contact this company at all prior to my move.I was never contacted at all by this company before my move. They just showed up at my door the day of the pick-up
unannounced. That's not deceptive, unfair, and suspicious? It is. And it's called bait and switch. What a disgrace.I went ahead with the move under circumstances that amount to duress.

Both these companies should be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission immediately in regards
to my move and all the related the questions listed above. Will the FTC investigate? I implore it to do so.Protect others from suffering\ as I did .These crooks should be put out of business and in jail where they belong.

In the year and 5 months I've had the misfortune and great displeasure to know of their existence StateWide Relocation
has had 3 different addresses. Is that characteristic of a reputable and stable company? They might be out of
business by the time this letter reaches the FTC. But hopefully not before the owner and his company are investigated.

I have also filed complaints with the USDOT/FMCSA and the FL,NY,and IA Attorneys General Offices,as well as
the FL Division of Consumer Services.I have also filed complaints with the FBI Miami FL office and ICE,Immigration and Customs Enforcement.I have filed a police report with the Fairfield IA Police Department and written my US Congressman and US Senators.Complete documentation of these actions is enclosed.

And for what it was worth-less then absolutely nothing given the response they made,I also filed a complaint with AMSA- the American Moving and Storage Association. They lied right to my face too, in writing, about Green Van Lines
and StateWide Relocation's standing with them. Both these companies are in fact members of AMSA.So why is AMSA denying it? Isn't that fraud? The letter was signed by David Hauenstein,a copy of which is also enclosed.

Will the FTC please take note? AMSA is at best allowing it's members to engage in deceptive, unfair, and
unethical business practices. Why is this being done? What form of corruption might be involved here? Is AMSA an active participant in it's members illegal activities?

It looks that way-otherwise why would they consciously hide  the fact that they have members who are
committing criminal acts? And this is an association that consumers are supposed to trust for an honest recommendation for a reputable mover? A pro mover ?  More like pro mobster.Professional crook. Will the FTC
investigate?

Complaints against the moving business are at an all time high. My move is just one more example of an out
of control business sector that plunders and pillages with impunity as a result of unjust laws governing the moving business.

Every day, literally, another individual or family falls prey to a predatory mover. When will it end? When moving companies get the message that crimes does not pay. When they start paying through the nose for the damages they inflict on consumers and start going to prison for their crimes. Will the FTC help in bringing this national disgrace to an end?

Thanks to the Federal Trade Commission for it's kind attention in regards to my complaint.

Sincerely,
S.

No settlement has been reached with either of the above companies. The law being what it is-a cover for the organized crime that is committed literally, every day by the moving mob I opted for buying a copy of Ripoff Revenge and will
take it from there. And continue on in my fight against Green Van Lines aka the Green Miles Gang , StateWide Relocation aka StatePen Dislocation and their ilk in the moving mob.
