Here's my story from the beginning....

I was bored in a movie theater in jacksonville FL waiting for my movie to start so I decided to fill out one of those "win a car" slips. 3 to 4 weeks later I received a call from bluegreen vacations stated "congratulations! You've won a 3 day 2 night vacation to one of our resorts nation wide, you just have to pay $199 and attend a simenar about our vacation timeshare but you don't have to purchase a vacation membership" I asked how they got my number and he said he received my entry at the theaters last month. I had told this John Taze that I only filed out ONE form and it was to win a car NOT a vacation. His response was "I have you entry form right in front of me. u must filled out the wrong form" (which I knew he was lying because there was only ONE entry pad of forms and it was to win a car)

Nevertheless we are a military family and just moved to Florida and have been wanting to set up a family vacation in Orlando FL so I figured 3 days 2 nights at the Fountains Resort in Orlando for only $199 seemed reasonable. So instead of being smart and hanging up I continued the phone call asking questions and looking at their website. Once I seemed interested in the deal I was switched over to another sales rep.... The next sales rep had quoted me only $145 IF I pay upfront today. So I set up my vacation dates for late march then was transferred to a another sales rep who I gave my credit card info to as well as went through a series of questions about my age, marital status, yearly income etc... Everything was good to go then once again I was transferred to abother sales rep to finish my purchase off...

As soon as I got off the phone I felt uneasy, nothing seemed right about that phone call. Between the 4 sales rep I spoke with as well as the different information from each sales rep to the lie about my prize entry form at the theaters. So i checked my account online to be sure I didn't get charged more or from a different company and sure enough a $145 charge was there from bluegreen vacation boca raton FL. I still felt uneasy about my decision on giving them my info over the phone. So I then decided to "google" this company and found this website (ripoffreport) I read all the reports on this company. From lawsuits to getting lied to, ripped off, and even stories similar to mine with a "prize entry form". I decided I was NOT going to go through the hassle of some scum company trying to scam me. So I called them right back to cancel immediately.

Once I called back I instantly felt like they were dodging me. With "oh my computers acting up, call back later" to "it's too late to cancel your vacation we only give you a 30 day period to cancel" (YES this was an hour later! Clearly within the 30 day period!) after fighting with them they finally apologized offered more deals and once denied they FINALLY cancelled the reservation and said the $145 well be refunded with in 3-5 business days... 3 days later I received an email with reservation information about a 6 day 5 night stay I ordered as well as a receipt for $369 from my credit card....... I did NOT authorize this! So I checked my account and sure enough there was a charge for $369 on top of my $145 charge... I called them right away, and they had stated " we never charge credit cards unless authorized by the card holder and that my husband must have called up and to contact him before canceling" (my husband in over seas on deployment and doesn't even have a phone to call home let alone them! besides it was MY card that was charged not HIS card) after explaining this the lady went fourth and cancelled the order...

It is almost 2 weeks later and both charges of $145 and $369 have NOT been refunded!!! With excuses from John Taze (manager) about how he's working hard on getting these charges refunded of a total of $514. I disputed it with my bank and when my bank contacted the company about the charges they claimed they were legit authorizations and were not going to refund these chargers... Of course John Taze claims that my bank that I've had for 12 years was lying to me about the issue because they don't want to do their jobs..... Please do not fall for this deal!!! Don't give bluegreen your info!!! They are all liars! And scum! Don't be fooled!!!!
