YOU CAN'T INCREASE THE COST OF THE HOME BECAUSE BUILDING MATERIALS GO UP. THAT'S ON THE BUILDER TO TAKE THAT INTO ACCOUNT WHEN THEY PRICE THE HOME. SO SAYING THAT GROFF NEVER ASKED FOR MORE MONEY MEANS NOTHING AND SHOWS YOUR WHOLE REPORT IS MORE THEN LIKELY ANOTHER LIE PROBALY WRITTEN BY GROFF HIMSELF. THEY ARE LIARS AND CHEATS!!

This is very sad to read, considering what kind of Construction Company that Groff Construction REALLY is. I moved to Lee County in 2002 and started to follow Real-Estate as a hobby. Before long I had convinced my father, who is a Real-Estate investor to take a look at new construction in Lehigh Acres, FL. After doing a lot of leg work on local builders such as pricing, quality, reputation, etc., Groff Construction really stood alone. This builder is NOT a fly by night builder. He has been building new construction homes in Lee County since 1988 and continues to this current day. Part of my research was dealing with local Realtors and Real-estate offices such as Remax, Coldwell Banker, Sell-State and many smaller offices, and every last one had great comments about Groff. I did not get ONE bad review all across town. Since deciding to use Groff as our builder, my father, Charles along with 25 or more out of state investors, have been building second homes and investment homes with Groff Construction for the past 3 years. Since I now work in the Real-estate business, I have teamed with my father and coordinate all his rental properties for his clients. To this day my father's group has built 40 plus homes with Groff and ALL have turned out beautifully. How do I know this you might ask?? Because I personally did each and every Final walk-through before keys were handed out. The only negative I ever saw with Groff Construction was the delayed build time. We were quoted 8-10 months, and our first batch of homes that went into production in the middle of 2004 took on average 12-14 months, but when these homes were finished they were well worth the wait. One little thing that a lot of people fail to mention is that fact of a little storm called Charlie, which ripped through this area and most of this state. This natural disaster halted most materials needed to build new construction homes. All anyone had to do was open the daily paper and you could read about all the problems with the building industry. Not one time did Groff Construction ask for more money because of material increases, which was what most every builder in Lehigh did. They honored there MODEL home price which was considerably lower than most new home builders in the area. Very few builders did the same. If one were to drive down Lee Blvd. in Lehigh Acres at present time and wanted to look for a new model home to build you would be surprised at how many builders are still actually open for business. Most have gone out of business and stiffed a lot of customers. The same can not be said of Groff. They are still operating and providing beautiful affordable homes all across Lee County. After speaking with the Builder on numerous occasions, I have found that Groff Construction has built 200-250 homes in the past 4 years in Lehigh Acres. From time to time everyone in business runs across a customer that you just cannot please, and I think Groff has unfortunately found that person. Each person at that office has always treated all of my clients and myself with the up most respect. Keep up the GREAT work Groff Construction. My father and I love the houses you built for us. I currently live in one and I love it! Kasey Lehigh Acres, FL
