Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

We were told at the beginning by their sales reps that the presentation is for 90 minutes. We were there and spent almost 6 hours listening to several sales reps. We kept saying no and they kept sending us to see another sales rep. Eventually, we were very tired and just wanted to get out of it.  The third sales rep gave us a deal for $7,000 and told us that we can cancel in 5 days.  We paid so that we can get out of it.

We got back to hotel, did some research and found out that most of what they said what not true (including HSI and getting money from renting out the place), so we called them to cancel.  They said that someone will contact us but we still haven't heard from anyone.  I tried to dispute with my back but don't know the status yet.

I would like to warn people about this. Don't even go to any presentation as it's not worth your vacation time to listen to it and go thru pressure from their sales rep.  Everyone sounds so good but it's not true. Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, it's not true.

It is very well known that mayan palace sales tactics are extremely hardcore and they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you into the contract and keep you in contract with them. I've realized that n every bad review there's a "customer support representative" that apologizes. Shortly after the bad reviewer "rescinds any bad words" and all of their issues are magically resolved. So, are they paying people off to stop telling people how bad they are, and if that's the case wouldn't it make sense that they're paying people to write "good" reviews? This place is too sketchy-no matter how good the deal is. I'll stay away. This is an interisting article from Mexican Timeshare Solutions about this company: Mayan Palace Timeshare Scam

a Mayan Palace Timeshare is one of the worst purchases you could ever make in Mexico, they have a terrible reputation regarding timeshares! their sales tactics are hardcore and they will tell you anything you want to hear to get you into the contract and keep you in contract with them, which is just a bunch of lies
