Grupo Security Company S.A Fake Lottery winning prize C.P. 28006, Madrid Spain
I recieved a letter telling me I had won the lottery in the 3rd catagory. The amount stated 615,810.00 euros.
The letter said: "We are pleased to inform you the released results of the Spanish Sweestake Lottery International Promotion Programms held on the 31 Jan 2008. Your name attached to ticket number 016 - 01361571-145 with serial number 5012-05 drew the lucky numbers 06-17-25-31-39-43 which won the lottery in the 3rd category."
I was told to contact agent Dr Fernandez Paez, Foreign Services Manager of Grupo Security Company SA. on phone number 0034 637-088-297 or fax number 0034 917 903 891 for processing and remittance of my prize no later than 19th April 2008. I should keep the Award top secret from public notice until my claim had been processed and my money remitted to my account.
I didn't contact them, firstly because,upon opening the letter I doubted its authenticity, secondly, I checked them on the internet and found that someone has reported the same company. Even the prize was for the same amount! (lack of creativity!!!). I tore the letter and filed this report so that even if just one person benefits from it, it was worth it!!!
Remember, if something seems to good to be true, it perhaps is...
