Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?

These people are frauds. They STOLE money from us when they promised to help us with our IRS debt. All they said were false words and sent false letters, they even sent them to the IRS and the IRS did nothing to let us know they were frauds. The IRS should start an investigation with all these people here mentioned so they stop scamming more americans. No one should trust them. They are all very well worked so they know what to tell you to believe them. These people are liars, they should be in jail. Some one who knows these people by name should report them to authorities. I will keep on working the internet and phones until I find them. I will not stop until they refund us our money! They are common thieves, scammers, frauds.

My name is boldly listed in capital letters, as anything but good.  I must share, that I am a victim of this now defunct company.  The author of the complaint, is justified in their anger.  Although, does not have all facts.

Publicly denouncing individuals that were also victimized by this group, seems as though they are being victimized, again.  This has truly affected many people in negative ways.  I can only share what happened to me.

I was deceived by Guaranteed Tax group.  I believed I was working with ethical professionals.  I found out differrent.   Showing up one day to report to work, the office was bare and had been moved to Las Vegas, Nevada.   I was shocked and angered and had no control over their actions.  They vacated the premises owing severals thousands in upaid office rent, as I was to find out.  Also, owing me paychecks that had bounced and were never replaced.

I was not involved with their Las Vegas office nor was I ever there in any function for this company.  As I discovered later, my name was being used by the Las Vegas office sales people, saying they were me.

I am a victim in multiple ways by this defunct company and have been wrongly accused.

I believe many people were wronged and hopefully through out our journeys in life they somehow can be righted and good things will take the place of the trust that we gave them.

Performing your job and believing in it, is a good thing, until you are working with the wrong people.

Thank you for reading.

Almost all tax relief companies are operated by salespeople who do not have your best interest in mind.

I have worked at a few of these places and have left them because of the sales tactics and am no longer in this line of work. Not all of them are bad, there are some that are operated by real tax attorneys, real enrolled agents, and real CPA's, but Freedom Tax Relief is definately a sales run company. Two I know of that are not sales based are CA Tax Advisors, I believe its www.cataxadvisors.com which is run and owned by EA's and they do good work. Another is Tax Resolution Professionals, which is www.taxresolutionprofessionals.com which is run and owned by tax attorneys. There are other tax relief companies as well that are not run by salespeople. What you need to do when contacting any of these tax releif companies is ask the following questions to the person you are speaking with:

1. Are you qualified to represent me in my case before the IRS or State?

2. Who is the owner of your company? Do a google search on the owner, look at what state their in and see if they are licensed for ANYTHING - you will find most are not.

3. How many cases are assigned per attorney/cpa/ea? Some places have one person handling 500+ cases. In this kind of scenario, there is no way your case is going to get proper attention.

The places I have worked we had case loads anywhere from 100-250. 100 is workable, but over 200 cases on one person will make it hard for your tax professional to be very effective on your case.

I hope this helps anyone who is looking for future tax relief.

#5REBUTTAL Individual responds

To respond to some of the statements made in the complaint.  It is believed that all who worked with Guaranteed Tax Relief were frauds or scammers.  This is not the case.  Those of us who were Enrolled Agents and employees, were hired to assist you with your tax issue.  We were not the individuals who quoted you a price, took the money or chose to close up shop.  The sales department simply found enough individuals willing to part with their money for the promises sales gave.  When the case got to the professional, many times there was nothing we could offer for a resolution you were promised.  We requested from management numerous times to refund monies when we saw these cases, but to no avail.  Sales sold more clients than 2 Enrolled Agents could possibly handle.  After 3 months, I quit, but am finding that my name was used on Powers of Attorney afterwards.
