I have had a Guardsman Service Plan on a sofa I bought for almost three years now. It is amazing how poor their customer service is. When you can convince them to respond, they usually take a month or more to arrive at your home. They do the absolute minimum. The last time, they cleaned only 1/3 of my sofa because I told them in the report that it was the right cushion and not all three cushions. They could not clean underneath the cushions because I hadn't reported it "correctly". Customer service told me that this area is called "Decking" and they could only issue a work order to clean it if I told them in advance that the "decking" needed cleaning. So I guess if you are a furniture builder or designer and you understand the technical terms for all the pieces of the furniture, you might have better luck than I did, but I wouldn't risk it.
